Lately,
Shuu has been calling me 'Nacchan.'
To be honest,
I'm not sure when she started or why, for that matter,
but I don't particularly mind.I kind of like it.
"...Nacchan?"
Shuu said hesitatingly,
waving her hand in front of my face.
"Ah, sorry."
I smiled meekly at my own carelessness.
Next time,
I'll need to be extra mindful not to lose myself in my thoughts...
"Haha, that's so like you, Nanoka." Kame teased.
Whenever the four of us were together,
the days never felt boring.
Even if we poked fun at each other
until tears streaked down our faces--
each sentence,
each word,
would end in smiles.
