My hair looked soft? I was really confused as to what she was getting at. I went back into my room and sat at my desk, tinkering with doll heads and rat hearts, but I wasn't really interested at the moment. The tea I was drinking had gotten cold, but I finished it anyway. I looked at myself in the mirror that was leaned against my wall. It was just now that I payed attention to how I looked; not that I minded how I looked, I'd just never payed attention.
"You're definitely pulling off the classy-macabre look." Millard said. I jumped and closed my eyes. "Millard, get out." "What, (Y/N) got you questioning yourself now?" "I said get out." "I think she kind of likes it though, the whole cardigan and tie with the skull rings, yes sir." "And what makes you so sure of this?" "She looks at you quite a bit. I think she fancies you." "Yeah, get out, Millard." "No, no, no, I'm being serious. Like, have you seen the way she fiddles with her ring when you guys make eye contact? And how she returns your remarks?" "That's just her personality." "And how would you know?" "I don't know, I think I might live in the same house as her, I'm not sure though." "You still have the worst observant skills I've ever seen." "Millard, get the fuck out." I said casually. "That's not a nice word." "I've said worse things to better people." He gasped. "Don't make me say it again." "Sheesh! I'm going; I'm going." Finally, my door opened and clicked shut again. I pulled one of my homunculi together and sent it out with a special request from Fiona.
Sorry about the chapters, I know they keep getting shorter and shorter, but I'm trying!
