A Love Story

Chapter 1

Courtney's View:

I hear my alarm ringing and quickly reach for my phone to turn it off. It's my first day at Smosh. It's going to be exciting and i only know Olivia, so I will get to meet a bunch of new people. She told me about Smosh needing new faces and I decided to give it a try, since I've always been interested in stuff like that. I went to an audition-interview (not sure how to call it exactly, because i had to prepare some acting material and perform it), they accepted me and now i work at Smosh. 

I sat up and got out of bed. After I got ready and ate breakfast, I made my way to my new work place. When i got to the studio, i saw Olivia waiting for me in front of the building. It was a huge building owned by Defy media, so I wasn't surprised when I found out they share it with many other YouTube channels, like "Clevver". We greeted each other and she wrapped me in her arms lovingly. We were early, so we decided to sit down on a nearby bench to catch up.

Olivia: So...any lucky guys yet, or...?
Courtney: Haha...no. Still single and I'm probably gonna stay single, Liv'...
Olivia: Why do you think so? You are really beautiful on the inside and on the outside Courtney.
Courtney: Thanks, Liv'...you are such an amazing friend...I'm just so used to people saying bad things about me, that it gets hard to remind myself i'm not any of these things they used to call me. I have a hard time believing in myself sometimes.
Olivia: Courtney...i'm always gonna be there for you, reminding you how incredibly gorgeous, talanted and smart you are...that's what best friends are for! - i smiled at her and embraced her tightly.

All of the sudden a guy showed up. He had blond hair, was really handsome and you could clearly tell he had an amazing body, too. He was headed right towards us and i found myself getting nervous.

Shayne: Hi! This you guys' first day here, too? - i nodded. - Nice to meet you. I'm Shayne.
Olivia: Hey! I'm Olivia and this is Courtney. I've been working here for a couple months, but it's her first day. - she shot out confidently. 
Courtney: Hi.- he was even more handsome up close.
Shayne: Hi, there. - he smiled at me.

Olivia's View:

Courtney is definitely crushing on Shayne. She is adorable, so I really hope he likes her, too. She's usually really talkative, but as soon as Shayne walked up to us she went almost completely silent.

Shayne's View:

I was walking to the studio and i was very nervous. I didn't know what to expect. Then I saw two girls talking on a bench near the building i was headed towards. They were both beautiful, but one of them really caught my eye. She had blond, wavy hair and was incredibly attractive. I went up to them and introduced myself. They told me their names. Her name is Courtney...she is actually so pretty.

Courtney's View:

Shayne seems so sweet. His eyes are blue like the ocean...Okay, i'm daydreaming again.
We talked outside a bit, until other people came and introduced themselves to us. Afterwards we all went inside, because we had a scheduled team meeting in one of the conference rooms, situated on our floor of the building.

Anthony: Hey everybody! I want to introduce you to our new cast members. Shayne and Courtney.
Courtney: Hello, guys! I'm 20 years old. I have always loved to edit and make funny videos, so when my friend Olivia told me about Smosh i thought...well why not give it a try? I didn't expect to get an actual job here, but i'm really glad i did! - everyone smiled at me and chuckled. - I'm really excited to work with you and get to know everyone!
Shayne: I'm Shayne and I am 24 years old. I guess you could say i'm an actor. I love comedy. I have been watching Smosh on Youtube for a while, so it's surreal to be here with you all!

After a good 30 minutes of getting to know people, we walked to our offices. All of Smosh Second Channel was in one office, so i was together with Olivia, Keith, Noah and Shayne.

Shayne's View: 

I can't believe i get to work here and i get to be with such amazing people! And i'm in the same office as Courtney...i thought as everybody started working on their daily tasks. I looked over to Courtney and couldn't help, but notice how adorable she looks when focused. I decided to go talk to her.

Shayne: Hey...uhm...i thought we didn't get to talk that much, so given that we share an office and all, maybe we should get to know each other a bit better? - i joked, feeling a bit flustered
Courtney: Yeah, of course, i would love to! - said she as her face lit up. - Maybe at lunch?  Shayne: Sure, perfect! - I smiled widely and went over to my desk again. 

When lunch break came, all the others went to eat so we were alone together. We sat on the couch and started talking.

Shayne: So tell me about yourself?...Are you from LA? - i asked.
Courtney: No...i was born in Malibu, but i moved here.
Shayne: Are you single?- i blurted out like a complete idiot and she laughed, but then looked at down at her hands and started moving her thumbs.
Courtney: Yeah, i am. Guys don't seem to notice me a lot. - she sighed and looked up at me again.
Shayne: Hey...no, i bet that's not true at all, Courtney! You are beautiful- i mean, you seem great! - i said, stumbling over my words again.
Her face lit up and she blushed...she is so cute.
Courtney: Thanks, Shayne! You're so nice. -she said hugging me and placing her head on my shoulder. 

Courtney's View:

Oh, God...he is so sweet. When we hugged it felt really different...I've never felt this way. It was so comfortable and nice and his arms felt so right around me. I didn't want to ever let go.
