A Love Story

Chapter 2

Shayne's View

We hugged for a long time and it felt magical. I held her small body in my hands and i didn't want to let go...but i knew i had to, because i don't really know if she feels the same as i do and i didn't wanna creep her out. I decided to invite her to get some coffee in the break.

Shayne: Um...Court, wanna get some coffee together?
Courtney: Yeah, of course! I was hoping you'd ask that. - she chuckled.
Her laugh is so cute...
Shayne: Okay! Let's go then!

Courtney's View

Courtney: So, where are we gonna go? - i asked shyly.
Shayne: Starbucks?
Courtney: Yeah! I love Starbucks!

We walked to to his car and he ran ahead to open the door for me to get in. He is so sweet...i can't. He is probably doing it to be polite though... i doubt he likes me...Anyway, i get in the car and we drive off.

Shayne: So i heard Olivia was planning a sleepover with the Smosh cast tonight. Are you going?
Courtney: I don't know...should i...?
Shayne: Yeah, definitely.
Courtney: I don't know...I kinda have a lot of stuff to sort out at home...and you guys barely know me anyway.
Shayne:  What?! Courtney we all really like you and you're Olivia's best friend. Of course we would love to have you with us...i...want you to be there.-as he said those words, i blushed so hard and i looked at him...he was just perfect.
Courtney: Okay...in that case i will come. - i smiled at him softly.

He smiled back and i blushed again...what if he likes me, too?

Shayne's View:

I don't know why i said i want her at the sleepover out loud. I'm just so nervous around her. I didn't know how she would react, but when she blushed i felt relieved.  We arrived at Starbucks and i opened the door for her.

Courtney: Thanks! - she said and looked at me. She didn't notice the step in front of her and tripped on it, quickly starting to fall. Luckily i caught her just in time.

Courtney's View:

As i stared at Shayne like an idiot, i tripped and he caught me in his arms. I looked up at him and when our gazes met I just got lost in his eyes...his blue eyes...

Shaynes View:

She is so beautiful...I caught her toned body and looked at her.  The warm sun was shining on her face, making her green eyes look magical. I really want to kiss her right now...

Shayne: Be careful with the steps. - i said softly and smiled at her.
Courtney: Thanks, again.
I opened the door for her, and i said something so stupid:
Shayne: There you go, beautiful.
As soon as i said those words i widened my eyes and saw her smile and blush a bit.
Shayne: Oh, i'm so sorry...i got carried away.
Courtney: No, its okay. I don't mind...

Courtney's View:

First him catching me, now this...God, i'm crushing on him so hard. We sat at a table and Shayne went to order some coffee. While waiting, i decided to call Olivia.

Courtney: Hey, Liv'! Whatcha' up to?
Olivia: Nothing much. Where are you? We came back to the office.
Courtney: Shayne and I went to get some coffee.
Olivia: Okay...so he asked you out?
Courtney: No, he didn't, haha. Just as just friends.
Olivia: If you say so... - she giggled. - Btw i'm having a sleepover today, wanna come to my house, too?
Courtney: Yeah, Shayne told me already.
Olivia: Hmm....he must really want you to be there, Courtney...
Courtney: Shut up! - I smiled.
Olivia: You will tell me everything later!
Courtney: You are so annoying...
Olivia: I know, but you love me! Okay, have fun on your date, girl.
Courtney: It's not a- - I got cut off when she hung up.

As I finished my conversation with Olivia, Shayne came with our frappuccinos and we chatted for a while. Then we headed to the office to meet the others.

At the office later:

Courtney: Hey guys! We're back!
Noah: Hey!
Olivia: All of you are gonna stay over tonight, right?
Keith: Yeah!
Olivia: So maybe come by at 6:30 pm?
Shayne: Yeah, cool!Now let's get back to work!
I went to Olivia's desk and told her to come with me in the other room.
Olivia: Okay, girl! Tell me everything!
So i told her everything with a lot of details and she started jumping around and screaming.
Olivia: SHOURTNEY!!!!
Courtney: Shut up, Olivia! He is gonna hear you. OLIVIA!
And we both started laughing and hugging.

Shayne's View:

Olivia and Courtney went to another room. That means it's the perfect time to tell Keith and Noah what just happened.

Keith: Damn, bro...You really like her.
Noah: Yeah, just tell her, man!
Shayne: It's not that easy...we just met, i'm scared she doesn't like me and it's gonna be awkward if i tell her. 
Noah: Have you seen how she looks at you?
Shayne: Well then, why don't you tell Olivia how you feel, Noah?
Noah: Wha...at do you mean?
Shayne: Oh, come on, man! I've been here for a day and I see how you look at each other.
Noah: Is it that obvious...?
Keith: Yeah.
Noah: I don't know, i guess you are right, i do have a huge crush on her...
Just then the door opens and the girls come in.

Olivia: Who do you have a crush on Noah? - she said raising an eyebrow.
Noah: Oh...um, what...what are you talking about? What crush?
Olivia: Shayne? Keith?
Shayne and Keith: We are out of here girls!- They ran out and Noah followed them.

Courtney's View:

Courtney: Um...okay?
Olivia: What the f- happened?
Courtney: I don't know, but Noah has a crush on somebody.
Olivia: Yeah....i heard.- she said as she looked down.
Courtney: Oh, Olivia...You like him don't you?
I hugged her. And she started crying...
Olivia: I do, i like him...,but he likes somebody else. Of course he doesn't like me. What was i thinking?
Courtney: Hey...-i said lifting her face up- What if he was talking about you, Liv'?
Olivia: I don't know...
Courtney: Liv...
Noah entered the room.
Noah: Hey...um Olivia, can we talk? Oh, why are you crying? - he said worried.
Courtney: Okay! I'm gonna leave you two alone for a bit, see ya!- i said looking at Olivia with a huge grin on my face and left the room.
