"August, I'm heading out." I said, walking down the stairs.
"Where you goin', ma?" He asked, jogging down the stairs, shirtless.
"To go look for something to wear to Kylie's birthday dinner, in two days. You wanna come?"
He chuckled. "No thanks, gimme a kiss before you leave."
I giggled, pecking him on the lips. "I'll be back in two hours." He nodded and went inside of the kitchen.
I left out of my house, locking the door. I went over to my car and got inside of it heading towards the mall.

"Girl, August will kill you if you left out of the house wearing that." My friend, Kayla said.
She lives in LA but she has a place out here in Atlanta, that she often comes to.
I laughed putting the see thru dress back on the rack. "What about this one?" I asked holding up a silk dress. It was short but it was cute. It looked like it showed a little cleavage, too.
"August? You see what your girl tryna have on?" She said, laughing.
I chuckled. "He is not my dad."
"He is in the bed, though." She mumbled. I side eyed her.
"See, now that's where you're wrong." I said. She chuckled, shaking her head.
"Let's go to another store, obviously this one doesn't have anything in here." She said. I nodded in agreement as we left out of the store.
"So how are you and Aug?" She asked.
"We're good. We're taking things slow, though. There's no need for rushing into anything."
She nodded, understandingly. "Are you and Chris, you know.." She trailed off.
I shook my head. "Uh, no. I heard he's still kind of with Nia."
She shook her head, deeply sighing. "What about you and Trey? Everything's going fine?" I asked. She nodded with a smile.
"I love you guys being together. He's really a good guy." I said.
She giggled. "Yeah, he is, thank you."
I nodded with a small smile and we entered Forever 21, my favorite store in the world.

The next day.
I got off of my private jet with August following behind me. We carried our suitcases to the Escalade and he helped me put them inside the trunk.
We had just made it to LA. Kylie didn't even know that I was out here yet.
I got inside of the drivers' seat and Aug sat in the passengers' seat. I then made my way straight to her house.
"I miss living out here." I admitted.
He looked over at me. "Why don't you move back out here?"
I sighed. "I don't know..There's a lot of reasons as to why I moved away that I don't really wanna get off into."
He nodded slowly. "That's coo' with me."
I turned left on Kylie and Tygas' street. I then pulled up to their gate and entered the code Kylie had given me.
When the gates opened, I pulled inside, parking the Escalade. I took my phone out, dialing her number. After a few seconds she answered. "Hello?"
"Hey, come open the door." I said.
"What? You're here? Like now?" She asked, excitement filling her voice.
"Yes," I answered with a giggle.
"Omg! Babe, Lexi's here!" She exclaimed. "I'll be right out." She said. I then hung up and we got out, making our way to the door.
A few seconds later, the door swung open and she pulled me into a hug. "It's been sooo long! I missed you!" She said.
I pulled away, laughing. "I missed you too, girl. Can you believe you're gonna be 22 tomorrow?!"
"I know right! I'm excited for this dinner. Where are you guys staying at out here?" She asked as we walked inside. August had already entered when we were hugging.
I shrugged, "A hotel, I don't know."
She fanned me off. "You guys can stay here, I'm sure Ty won't mind." She said as we entered the living room.
"You sure?" I asked.
She nodded. "You're family, girl."
"Where is his goofy self at anyway?" I questioned with a small laugh.
"The studio. You know him," He said with a small eye roll. "He's always working."
"That's a good thing, he's ambitious."
I said as we took a seat on the couch. She nodded. "You look great, though." She told me.
I smirked, "I try..Thank you, you do, too."
She giggled. "Thanks,"
"Guess what I've been thinking about doing," I said . She looked at me waiting for me to continue.
"I've been thinking about moving back out here."
Her eyes widened. "You serious?"
I nodded."It was August' idea, to be honest."
She squealed. "I think you should. Everyone misses you..I know Chris misses you."
I rolled my eyes. "He's with Nia now, and I'm talking to Aug. I'm almost positive that he doesn't even think about me."
She fanned me off. "Can you believe he has a baby on the way?"
"I know." I said lowly.
She shook her head. "What if it's not even his?"
I frowned. "Why you say that?"
"Rumor has it, the girl is a hoe..I'm not saying it's not his, I'm just saying. You never know. Don't say anything, though."
I slowly nodded.
"SexyLexi, wassup sis?!" Tygas' voice boomed inside of the living room.
I laughed and got up, hugging him. "Hey, T." I said with a smile.
Kylie hugged Aug and we all sat down, catching up. It was times like that I missed the most. Although things weren't the same because Chris wasn't here.
But like they all say, everything happens for a reason..
