"Wait, you want me to come with you, today, to meet up with Nia?" Lexi asked while taking out her two french braids she kept in her head over night.

"Yep." I answered, resting my hands behind my head watching her.

"Why?" She questioned. "Why not?" I asked in the same tone she had used.

"You know she doesn't like me, I definitely don't like her ass either. So me coming with you is really a waste of time." She said turning to face me, leaning on my dresser. She took her hand and shook her now wavy hair out.

It's crazy how she looks so beautiful without even trying.

I sighed. "Look if it makes you feel any better, I won't even tell her I'm bringing you with me."

She kissed her teeth. "That's even worse!"

"Man, I'm bringing you because I want you to see that I'm not gonna fuck up."

"Well of course you aren't, because I'm gonna be there." She replied smartly.

I rolled my eyes. "It's like uon even trust me."

She sighed and stood up straight walking over to me. "It's not that I don't trust you because I want to trust you. I mean i think I trust you. I just don't wanna be too sure and end up getting hurt again. You gotta understand, you hurt me emotionally and it took me a while to come back from that. I loved you.. I still love you." She said sitting next to me.

"And I love you, too, Lex. More than life itself. Which is why I wanna gain your trust back baby. I want us to be an us again. We don't even have to rush into anything serious, we can take our time and just start over. I wanna take you out on dates and shit like that. Send flowers to your photoshoots and dressing rooms and shit like that. All that mushy shit. I just want us to work. Whatever it takes, I'm willing to do. If you want me to cut off Nia, after today, I will. Can't you see I'm trying man?"

She looked at me then down.

"I'm not gonna force you to do anything that you don't wanna do but I know you feel some type of way about me if you chose to stay."

She sighed and I pulled her closer to me by her arm and she laid her head down on my chest wrapping her arms around me in the process.

"That is why I stayed." She mumbled.

I kissed her forehead and sighed as we laid in silence.

"You can go.." She said. I took a deep breath. "But if anything sketchy happens Chris, I need to know." She finished.

I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by yelling.

"Chris!!!" Somebody yelled causing me and Lex to get out of the bed immediately and leave out of the room, running down the hall and stairs.

We walked inside of the living to see Kylie and Mike standing there looking bout mad as hell.

"The fuck y'all got going on?" I asked.

"Ask your dumb ass brother." Kylie spat, crossing her arms.

"You a dumbass." Mike said looking at Ky like a little ass kid. I furrowed my eyebrows confused as hell.

"You guys stop! What the hell is going on?" Lex asked.

"And how the hell did y'all get inside my house?" I asked right after.

"I used the key you have hidden under a rock." Kylie said in a duh tone.

Lexi's brows furrowed. "Anyways, for the last time, what the HELL is going on?!"

"Mike thinks I'm seeing Travis Scott," Kylie explained.

"The fuck you mean I think? You are!" Mike shouted. "It's all over TMZ, Kylie. Open your fucking eyes. I'm not fucking dumb, bruh. Y'all dry ass was cozying it up at a fucking Houston Rockets game, so cut the bullshit."

"Alright, alright, alright. Everyone just calm down!" Lexi exclaimed. "Let's just sit down, and talk it out like mature adults." She said calmly before sitting on a couch.

Kylie glared at Mike, not moving. "Come on now, don't just stand there. Move it, move it." Lexi rushed clapping her hands.

I chuckled and sat down across from Lex.

"Kylie you sit next to me, T sit next to Chris please." Lex said as they did as told.

"Kylie..are you seeing Travis?" Lexi questioned.

"No! Why would you even as-"

"Kylie, calm down it's just a question. The whole point in this is to work out whatever it is y'all have going on. You claim you aren't seeing Travis, Mike says otherwise ." I said speaking up.

"All I wanna know is why in the FUCK were y'all at a Rockets game alone?" Mike questioned still pissed.

Kylie sighed. "I already told you why, Michael. He wanted to hang so that's what we did." She finished, shrugging both shoulders.

"Kylie, be real, how would you feel finding pictures surfing the internet of Mike and another broad chilling, just cozying it up?" Lex asked.

Kylie stayed silent.

"Exactly. She would be heartbroken as fuck." Mike said butting in causing Lex to put her hand up.

"Look, man, all we tryna tell you Ky is that that shit just isn't cool. You don't just chill with other niggas while you have a whole fiancé." I said.

"Well look who's talking." Kylie clapped back.

I rolled my eyes. "This ain't even about me so let's not even go there. If you fucking with Travis let Mike know, if not, cutting all ties with him should be simple."

"CUTTING ALL TIES!?"

"Why are you getting so defensive, man?" Mike asked looking at her for an answer.

She sighed. "Babe, he's my friend. Does it really get that deep?"

"Actually, it does. I'm not finna sit around and wait for something to happen between you two. Either you cut all ties with the nigga or me and you are done." He said before standing up.

"I'm gone y'all, sorry for just barging up in this bitch." He said while dapping me up and going over Lexi to give her a hug. He then left out of the living room then out of my house slamming the door.

I looked over at Kylie. "Thanks guys.." She said lowly, hugging Lex then giving me one before exiting.

I shook my head standing up heading upstairs to get ready to go and meet up with Nia.
