"Hey Ledoux!" I hear Draco's voice behind me and hurried footsteps catching up. "Hello, Draco." I greet him and turn around to face him. My stomach is churning just looking at him, his smile making me weak in the knees. "What happened last night? Umbridge didn't do much, did she?" He asks, looking up and down the empty hallway just in case someone comes around the corner. "She nearly expelled me, but Professor McGonagall saved me." He frowns. "Why would she expel you?" "Promiscuous behavior and I contradicted her and I was out after dark." "I'm sorry, I don't know why she didn't punish me too..." "Because your dad is so important to the ministry." "Oh. Well, I'm glad I found you, I was looking for you in potions." He says, sort of questioning why I wasn't in class. Why wasn't I in class? Because I'm one hundred percent sure I can't handle Snape's abuse today, so I got clearance to miss it from Dumbledore. "Why were you looking for me?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at him. "Well I'm not going to confess my feelings to somebody, kiss them, and then never speak with them again." Hm. True. "So....you don't regret kissing me at all, right?" I ask, sounding like an immature little schoolgirl; he smirks and steps forwards, then wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer, connecting his lips with mine. He kisses me, and after a few moments he pulls away, a bright smile playing on his lips. "Not at all." He answers my question, making me blush. "Draco..." "Yes, Ledoux?" "First of all, you can call me Sarah. Second, what are we gonna do now? We can't just date." His smile drops immediately, which hurts my heart...like a lot. "W-what? Why not?" He asks, sounding heartbroken. "Well think about your family, your parents don't like me, one of the reasons being I'm a mudblood who is supposed to kill the dark wizard they support, and then think about Snape, if his favorite student started dating his least favorite student whom he hates with a passion, he would be absolutely furious, and probably kill me. Hell, your dad would probably kill me too." I explain, he takes a deep breath and regains his composure. "Alright, so we don't tell anybody!" He exclaims, taking me aback. "Don't tell anyone?" "Yeah! We don't talk at all around people, and then when no one is around we can be together." "Be together? You mean......?" I raise my eyebrow and smirk; he doesn't get it for a second, but then his eyes widen and his face goes beet red. "N-no! I di-didn't mean-" "I know Draco, I know. So, while I do like your idea, how long would we keep that up? We can't just lie to everybody for the rest of our lives!" "We can tell people after we graduate, so you don't have to worry about Snape, and we can live on our own, so you don't have to worry about my parents. It'll be great!" He seems so excited, and his idea isn't the worst ever, I just don't know if I can keep such a huge secret from my friends for so long. "Alright. That's what we'll do." I say, smiling brightly at him. "Really?" "Yes." He throws his arms around me, kissing me again, then turning and walking away, leaving me wanting so much more. Secretly dating...hm, I hope this works.
