"Uncle Allen, pleas-" "I won't have it!" "But if you'd just listen to me..." Uncle Allen grabs me by the hair and pulls me close to his snarling face, bringing back some not so great memories from my childhood. "You will not write to some freak of a boy from that damned school!" "I'll be writing to some girls too though! They're my friends, Uncle. I have to write to them! Please, please just a couple letters!" I beg him, trying to turn my face away from his so his rage spit won't drench me completely. "Are you talking back to me?!" He roars, I stay quiet and feel myself shaking in fear. Uncle Allen practically throws me to the side, causing my side to slam against the wall, hard. I grunt at the impact and fall to the ground, wincing at the immediate pain in my left shoulder. It's definitely broken, and I can't use magic to fix it without the ministry of magic arresting me or something. I stare at the ground, holding back some things that I would love to scream at him right now. "Pathetic. Mary! Lucien! Come down here." He calls to my cousins, still staring at me angrily. Bounding, heavy steps sound the arrival of the two teenagers. "Yes, dad?" Lucien pipes up, Allen smiles up at them, and then deviously down at my shaking self on the floor. "You two go into Sarah's cupboard. I know her friends sent her home with some gifts, take whatever you want." horror wrecks through my body when he hisses those words, and I can hear the exact opposite emotion in giggles from Lucien and Mary, as they hurry into my cupboard and rustle around with my things. "Daddy?" Mary pokes her head out from the small doorway, catching my uncle's attention. "Yes?" I hear a familiar squeak from Hedwig, and her cage scraping against the wall. I look up and turn towards my cupboard, gasping when I see her holding my beloved owl's cage by it's side, nearly tipping it over. "Can I have this?" "No! Get away from he-" I'm cut off by Allen grabbing my face and pulling me roughly to face him, making me yelp. An evil sort of smirk lies across his face. "Of course you can have the bird, Mary dear." He purrs, his tiny teeth flashing. "Please don't....Please don't let her have Hedwig!"I beg, sounding absolutely pathetic..but I don't care, considering it's my last resort. Instead of responding, he just throws me towards the wall again, purposefully smacking my head against the wall, and knocking me unconscious.
