You look over and see that my hands are trembling,
My voice cracks and you laugh,
You put weights on my feet and let me swim,My tears are just the cherry on the top,
Words whispering,
Careless,
False,
And you call me naive,Like everything you put me through--was a warm up and I haven't seen anything yet.
This water is thick,
I kick it and it leaps,The wind tries to push me forward but the rain is what calls my name,
Swarming me in memories I fall to the ground.
It's like you're are stranded in the middle of the desert and all you want is a drop of water--
Yet you're surrounded by it,
It's mocking you,You can't get to me.
My demons cry and want out of my head. There's no use in reality.
Don't forget what we did and the words carved into my wrist,
And the way you could control me like I was cast under your spell.
I was blood bounded,
Locked in a cage,
No escape,
Just to find out it was unlocked the--whole time,It's funny that I don't know what to do with myself,
So I let you control me in brainwash and anguish.Let the lies fog in and absorb them like a sponge.
