Ava and Savannah Gilbert played by Hayden Panettiere and her new born daughter.
Ava's Pov
I was in the kitchen making everyone's breakfast before the boys go to school and my husband goes back to work. When the storm hit the night Savannah was born, Luann's diner got hit bad and still needs a lot of work to be done before we can open it back up and that's if Luann even wants to do that after we see how much it's going to coast. Our baby girl is right at 2 weeks old and is the light of everyone's day when the boys see her. I will say this Brantley and I did made a beautiful baby together.
Everyone loves the new house as well. That was a big plus for Brantley and I. I know how much Brantley loved the old house, but with everything that happened in that house I don't care if I ever go back there. I don't feel home there and I don't feel safe in that house. Brantley and I got a call from our lawyers the other day and John's father singed his rights all over to the state so now we have DCFS coming in and out of our home for the next 2 weeks to make sure the house is safe and to see if this is where John wants to be at.
I have Savannah in the kitchen with me. Poor baby was up most of the night so the little sleep we got was down in the living room so the boys can get there sleep for school and work. I walked over to her little swing that she loves, and she was fast asleep. Poor kid is going to have her days and nights all messed up at this point, but she is still new so she don't understand it just yet, but Brantley and I are going to put her on her own sleeping times so she won't be up all night and sleep most of the day.
I'm right in the middle of making bacon and eggs for the boys and for Brantley he is going to have an egg sandwich. He told me that he was getting to fat because of all of my home made cooking. Like I told him, you don't have to eat all of it. I just put all of the bacon on a plate when Brantley walked over to his daughter.
"Hi baby girl. Daddy is going to miss you today. You be a good girl for mommy." Brantley said to Savannah.
"Please don't wake her up." I said to him, not even looking at him.
"She kept you up all night baby." Brantley asked me. I looked over at him.
"No. She went to sleep right at 5 and I slept until 7." I said to my husband. Brantley walked over to me, and wrapped his arms around my midsection.
"Well, today is Friday and no one has to get up early, so I got baby duty tonight." Brantley said to me. I looked up at him.
"Try telling your daughter to sleep in. You might as well tell that wall over there to move." I said to my husband.
"Or we can have the boys down here for the night and you, Ms. Savannah and I can have the upstairs on weekends." Brantley said to me. I looked up at him and smiled at him.
"Okay. I'm to tired to try to fight you on this." I said to him.
"I'm glad." Brantley said to me.
"Kiss me." I said to him. Brantley moved down to my level and kissed me sweetly on my lips. I reached up to play with his newly buzzed hair cut. I opened up my mouth more so Brantley and I can deepen our kiss for each other.
"I love you Mrs. Gilbert." Brantley said to me. I love it when he calls me that.
"And I love you Mr. Gilbert." I said to him. Brantley moved his hands around my butt and cupped them.
"Okay your older children are in the room now." Brantley and I looked up and saw all 3 boys looking at Brantley and I.
"Sorry." I said to them.
