(Savannah's 9 days old today)
Brantley's Pov
Today Ava and I are going to be looking for homes today. Last night Dr. Ruth called us and first thing Monday morning Ava and I are getting Savannah from the NICU. She is getting stronger as the days goes, so now Ava and I are trying to get every thing done today. We have been staying with my mama since Ava got out of the hospital, but today we are going to go look at a house 5 miles from mama's place. When I called them about the house yesterday, they told me no one has came and looked at it. So that's where Ava and I going right now.
Ava and I also called up our lawyers yesterday to get custody of both Blake and Froggie. Like he told us we have a good case on Froggie, we are just going to need his father sign his rights over to us. Now that will be a little harder then said. I don't know if he would do that for us. We didn't leave things off in a good way the last time we all talked.
Today Ava and I are meeting the local real estate broker to see another house. So far we seen a few pictures of homes, but they was either way to small or wanted way to much money for the homes. It's not like we don't have the money to pay for a big house, but we don't want too at the same time. We was almost at the house when Ava looked over at me.
"I have a good feeling about this home." Ava said to me. I looked over at her.
"You do, do you?" I asked her. Ava smiled at me.
"Yes I do. Plus at this rate if we don't get a house soon, DCFS will be taking all of the kids away from us." Ava said to me.
"No they won't. We will kick mama out of the house and move into her place." I said to her. Ava looked over at me.
"As much as I love your mama's small house there is no way I'm raising 3 wild boys and a newborn in her 2 bedroom house." Ava said to me.
"No we don't have too worry about that." I said to her. Ava looked over at me.
"And why is that?" She asked me. I smiled at her.
"Because this is the house we are going to be looking at." I said to her. Ava pulled down her sun glasses and was looking at the big blue house.
"I love it." She said to me. I smiled at her.
"Well, lets go and see Max first." I said to her. I got out of the truck and helped Ava out of the truck.
"Oh Brantley I can see us living here for a long time." Ava said to me. We walked over to Max who is showing us the house.
"How are you both doing this nice day?" He asked us. Max and my brother Kolby went to school together. I trust him like he is one of my kid brothers.
"We are good. How big is this house?" I asked him. He smiled at me.
"Well Brantley, Ava this house has 6 bed rooms and 3 bathrooms. I know y'all wanted a big house since you just had another baby, so I think you all will be happy about this house." He said to us.
"How many square feet is this place?" Ava asked Max.
"Little over 4,000." He said to us.
"Wow. That is bigger then the old house." I said to Max.
"I know. This house sits on 52 acres of land as well." Max told us. Not bad, since I'm keeping the land that I bought as well. So right now we are up too 780 acres of land between this place and the old place.
