ZARA
"Ah, screw this!" Zara exclaimes to herself, forcing herself out of bed after two hours of tossing and turning.
Abruptly deciding to go to the party to kill her boredom if not anything else, Zara changes into a clean white t shirt with black stripes and her favourite pair of black jeans. She puts her phone and ID in her pocket, grabs her black jacket and locks the door behind her.She heads for block D, where the party is being held. Right from the entrance of the block, Zara finds wasted freshmen, lying around the stairs and door leading in.
A particularly drunk guy with hideous sideburns tries to grope her, but she dodges him expertly, and makes her way in. She has had years of training after all, living with constantly drunk parents all her life.
She stands against a wall, watching people get drunk, brawl, grind and just forget themselves. Zara wishes she could forget herself. She sees her classmate, Judith, approach her.
"You look uptight," she observes. "Here, have a beer," she offers Zara, who gladly takes it. Within the next hour, Zara has had quite a few beers. An hour later, Zara has forgotten herself.
