LAURA
When Laura goes up to her bed room that night, she sees Michael's missed calls. There are twenty of them. She tries calling him back, but all get directed to voicemail.
She sends him a message. "Hey babe, what is going on?"
He doesn't reply. So she sends him another message. "Michael is everything okay?"
Yet again he doesn't reply. Laura assumes he has fallen asleep.
She gets ready for bed, feeling queasy, and falls into an uneasy sleep.
