Chapter 1
The saltiness of the air tickled my nose as I tried to drown out the overbearing sound of the blaring music.
A large crowd of people were dancing right next to the dj, smelling of beer and sweat as they huddled together.
A man with sandy blonde hair and emerald eyes, wrapped his arms around a girl randomly dancing in the middle of the crowd.
The sound of waves seemed to grow louder as I zeroed in, on his forearm that was visible from where I was standing. Sure enough, there was a thick, black, scorpion tattoo.
Target Spotted.
Soundlessly, I elbowed my way into the middle, standing right behind him. I brought the smooth dagger in my hand, up to the back of his neck. In one clean movement, his head hit the ground. I slowly moved out of the crowd, listening to the shrill screams of horror coming from the beach party.
I flipped open my phone and pressed the speed dial button. It rang a few times, before I was answered by someone breathing deeply. A bone chilling smile covered my lips as I whispered darkly,
"Target Exterminated"
I then hung up and crushed the phone into pieces with only my bare hand. Brushing the remaining bits off.
Walking towards my black motorcycle, that was in a empty corner of the already crowded parking lot. I swung my leg over it and got comfortable, before kicking off.
Heading towards my new quest.
I took one of my hands off the handle bars as I reached into my baggy sweat shirt pocket. Blindly, grabbing one of the disposable phones that I kept with me. Each phone had the information and directions of a new assignment.
I liked to keep busy.
The wind bit at the sides of my tight, denim jeans. Tendrils of my hair, whipped side to side, wildly. Occasionally, getting into my eyes because I hated to wear helmets.
I held the disposable phone in my free hand, scanning over the information.
My next victim was a female.
I skipped over her name because it was pointless to me. From the picture that I was provided with, she had blonde hair and green eyes. I examined the photo a little more to get a detail that would stand out to me......
I slowed the motorcycle as I approached a red light. Her ears weren't pierced. Although that may sound unimportant, it actually begs a differ.
Most females at her location are almost guaranteed to have their ears pierced at her location. After all, she is currently at a club called,"Body art".
I chuckled as the cars around me honked in anger as I sped up and ran through the red light, that I was actually stopping for.
Oh well. Momma's on a roll.

The music thundered inside my head, making me slightly dizzy. The club was packed and unbearably hot. Sweaty, bodies, grounded together in time with the beat. Unfortunately to me, they just looked like a pack of wild animals doing the bump and grind.
I harshly, shoved people out of my way, ignoring their insults and complaints. My eyes were locked onto the drunk female getting groped by a large, hairy man in a dark corner. Her eyes were green and as she groaned in pleasure, I caught a flash of a un pierced earlobe. Being intoxicated helped my job become a lot easier but knowing me, I like to make things a little creative.
Stepping on the side of the dance floor in the shaded area, where the neon lights didn't flick onto. I got down on one knee and pulled out my favorite bow and arrow, out of my jean's pocket. I carefully unfolded it and placed a arrow from the leg of my pants, into the deadly contraption. Pulling it back, I aimed and shot when the man was covering her body completely.
Therefore, forcing the arrow to go straight through his and her heart. I pulled out the disposable phone from my hoodie pocket, as I watched both of their bodies slide to the ground.
After a few rings, I heard the sound of deep breathing.
"Target Exterminated"
Closing the useless flip phone, I threw it on the ground and smashed it under the heel of my foot. It was time to report back to my Master. I needed more quests to complete.
I turned a blind eye to the frantic actions of the club staff and I quietly walked out of " Body Art".
I wonder what he would think of my life now.
I always knew that Satan was a snake. I asked him to take away my memories and emotions. Which he did, all except for the ones that I really wanted him to take away. Instead he let me keep them, constantly torturing my conscience. I try to block them out, but with memories come emotions.
And the worst part of it all, was that Satan could control when and which memory I had to relive whenever he pleased.
My fingers started to tingle, here I go again.
(Flash back)
Dried leaves crunched loudly as I blindly ran into the forest giggling. I looked over my shoulder, and when I couldn't see him, I decided to slow down. Panting loudly, I sat against a moss covered tree and closed my eyes.
One..........Two.........Three.........Four!
A large grin crawled onto my face and I opened my eyes expectingly. Not failing to disappoint me, there he was. Sitting indian style across from me with his cheeks slightly red from running so hard. When he noticed me staring at him, his lip twitched into a cocky smirk,
"I told you I would find you before you could count to four." he bragged breathlessly.
I raised my eyebrow in denial,
"I was already at four when you arrived!"
His eyes widened in disbelieve before they turned hard with determination. He stood up, ignoring the dirt and leaves clinging to his jeans,
"Get up." he steeled out.
Following his command I got up and wiped my pants clean with my hands. My brows forwarded in confusion,
"Why? Where are we going?"
He shot me an intense look,
"Were doing it again."
I chuckled lightly and gave him a soft smile,
"It's ok that you lost, it's just a game."
His eyes filled with fire and he grabbed both of my wrists firmly, forcing me to keep eye contact.
"If you honestly know me, than you would know that I never break a promise."
Without waiting for a response, he took off running deeper into the forest. I stared at his retreating figure before letting out a longing sigh and running in the opposite direction.
"If only he knew....."
(End of Flash back)
Lies. All lies. Every word that he said was nothing but a filthy lie. I clutched my chest as my heart started to ache, nearly bringing me to my knees. This was why I hated emotions. They did nothing but make you weak with pain. I could picture Satan's face right now, red with laughter.
Walking to my motorcycle, I swiftly folded my specially made bow up and put my arrow back into my pants before hopping on. Every move I made, caused the arrows sharp tip to pierce my leg. And I could feel the blood drip down my pants. But it was my way of confirming that this was all real. And I am actually living.
If thats what people would call this.
