Travelling Love

Chapter Six

You didn't go home. You went right pass the house actually. It was only 9pm now and so a little trip won't hurt anyone.

Joe stopped at a little house, a cottage.

"Let's go" he said.

You got out of the car and Joe took your hand.

"Is this yours?" You asked.
"Yeah. I've always wanted to live in Cape Town. So sometimes I sneak away and come stay here for long weekends or weeks that aren't too busy."
"What! Really?" You asked absolutely flabbergasted.
"Yeah. Come inside."

He led you to the door which he unlocked with a key on his keychain. Inside, the house was beautiful. You walked into a little passage as you were met with a door on the right to the lounge area. The kitchen was a bit further forward. On the left there was a passage with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The one bedroom was filled with office supplies, and the other two were neat and looked a bit like hotel rooms. Joe showed you to the lounge and you guys sat on the couch.

"Do you think you might stay here?" You asked to break the awkward silence.
"I've always wanted to. I love it here. But my parents and sister." He said in a strong British accent.
"You can always visit them."
"I know. And you're another reason why I would love to stay here." He said and moved a bit closer.

As he got closer, your heart started beating so fast. He smiled and bit his lip.

"That sounds like a great reason to stay." You said.

He combed his fingers through your long hair and held onto the side of your face. His other hand was on your waist and his eyes stared from your lips to your eyes and back to your lips. He slowly edged closer and closer as you felt chills running through your whole body. Finally, after what felt like forever, your lips met. The anticipation that had been building up since you started watching his videos was finally satisfied. You felt sparks flying everywhere. As you moved your hands through his beautiful blonde locks to his mint smelling t-shirt. This was perfect. This was what you've wanted your whole life. This. Was. It.

After a while he pulled away.

"I'm sorry about how I acted the other day. You're just really beautiful and I was intimidated. I really liked you, from the minute I set my eyes on you. You just made me really shy. But, I'd like to get to know. If that's okay." He said.
"Wow, Joe. From the first day I started watching your videos, I've had a massive crush on you. At the time, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. But this, now, most definitely topped it. Joe, I like you a lot too. Thank you for showing me this cottage of yours."
"None of the guys know about it. It's my hideaway." He said.

You chilled there until 11 and took a slow drive home. At home, Josh and Oli were asleep but Caspar was on the phone with his mom (who lives in CT). He winked at you as you guys walked to Joe's room. You got dressed in the bathroom into a long white t-shirt and pajama shorts. You took off your makeup and went to lay next to Joe, who was busy on his laptop. He kissed your forehead and tickled your back until you fell asleep.

He truly was the best.
