Travelling Love

Chapter Seven

THE NEXT DAY

You woke up to an empty bed and all you thought was "that must have been a dream" until Joe walked in with a stack of pancakes, no shirt and a huge smile.

"Good morning beautiful," he said as he plonked down next to you on the bed.
"Morning Joe," you said in a sleepy voice.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked.
"Most definitely. Thank you." You said.

You and Joe chowed the pancakes and you got up. You walked down to the lounge area in your pajamas and found the guys on the couch playing "Cards Against Humanity". You sat on Joe's lap next to Caspar.

"Spill!" Said Caspar.

You and Joe looked at him questioning what he meant by that.

"Tell us what happened last night, everything." Josh said.
"Nothing much," Joe said.
"Yeah, just a drive." You added.
"Oh sure, you kids have fun at least?" Caspar asked mockingly.
"Hmm. We did thanks, Casp." You said.

Joe said he was going to get showered and went upstairs. Josh and Oli had to go pick up pizza that they ordered for breakfast. Apparently delivery is overrated. You chilled with Caspar and started watching Conjuring 2, which he hadn't watched yet but you had. You ended up just talking and not actually watching though.

"Are you going to visit your mom sometime?" You asked.
"Yeah. She lives 5 minutes away. So I'll go later today probably."
"That's cool, I'd like to meet your sister, she seems really nice." You stated.
"You can come with if you'd like." He said and sat closer.
You moved away unnoticeably and said, "Yeah, that'll be cool. Joe and I can come with."
"Nah, we can leave Joe here, and just us two can go." He said and moved really close.

He put his hand at the back of your head and pulled you face closer to his.

"Joe's right. You really are beautiful." He said.

When you were just a few centimeters away you realized what was happening and heard Joe coming down the stairs. You immediately pulled away.

"Don't tell Joe." He said.
"Don't tell Joe what?" Joe asked as he entered the room.
"It's a surprise, mate. You'll see in due time." Caspar said before you could say anything.

You walked to Joe and kissed him for a few seconds before going upstairs to get done. You turned around and winked at Caspar as to say "I want Joe and not you." In the shower you kept thinking about what just happened and what would've happened if Joe didn't come down the stairs. "I mean no, I wouldn't have kissed Caspar. I like Joe." You thought. But in the moment anything could've happened.
