"Mom, we're going to be late!" you called from the front door.
You're currently headed to the airport for your long holiday in Cape Town. It's December, and that means a luxurious 2 months of no school and lots of food. Your mom and you decided to take a bit of a break this holiday and go away. Cape Town seemed like the ideal place as they always have fun activities and Table Mountain is a must on any bucket list.
You climb into the car of your mother's best friend who kindly offered to drop you off at the airport. There wasn't much of a wait at the airport as you booked and checked-in online. The flight was short too, and you hired a car on the other end. The drive to the guest house was where patience was needed because you were staying in Fish Hoek, which is about half an hour away from Cape Town. Your phone was on 10% and your charger was somewhere in one of your bags.
After what seemed like the longest car ride of your life, you ended up at a beautiful flatlet where you met up with your mother's other friend who lived there. Yeah, that's right. Your mom has a friend here, while you're all alone. A hectic search later, you found your charger and charged your iPhone 7 Plus with it. While it was on charge, you took a bath because y'all were going out for dinner. It's about 4 pm now but a long bath with a lovely scented bath bomb and a candle sounded perfect right now. You have a bath bomb from Lush, it's a baby pink colour with some shocking purple stripes on it. It smelt like actual heaven to be honest.
You chose to wear some white ripped jeans with a black crop top and some Adidas All Stars. You curled your straight hair and put on a black cap that said "perfect" on it. Makeup. Makeup? Very simple. Some black eyeliner, mascara and a matte red lipstick. Perfect.
"Where are we going?" you asked as you stepped out of the room into the lounge.
"There's a lovely place at the V&A I think you guys would enjoy. They have pastas to die for." your mom's friend pointed out.
"Great, let's go." you and your mom said in unison.
