You know,
Koru really, really, really likes games.
Like he plays them every day of his waking life.
Not that he's good at them or anything but...maybe it's more of trying to fill in the void someone else left behind you know?
But then it happened.
Wanna play a game owo?
Koru of course, wasn't new to playing video games with other girls. Besides, he was more interested in how good they were, not how good they look.
But there was just something about her...
"Hey, good job!"
"Yooo, let's play again that was close!"
"Aww, looks like we didn't win, we have to play another game!"
It was like a breath of fresh air, like not having to focus on a game itself and just letting yourself be free.
Laugh after laugh, smile after smile, Koru was enjoying every moment.
And Koru leapt.
"Wanna hang out for lunch?"
"Sure! What day?"
He reached out as far as he could, his hand clutching on the edge.
"We should totally hang out again!" Koru said happily.
"Next time let's watch anime!" she replied.
With a strong push, Koru pulled himself back out of that void.
And he was over the gap.
Spring was here.
