"I'm not even sure you're ready for a relationship babe." I looked down and held her hand. This woman meant a lot to me, but Roman was trying so hard to tear us apart.

"Why would you say that?" She asked.

"You're not fully over Jimmy yet. If you need some space I'll give it to you. I don't want to get hurt in the process."

She rolled her eyes at me. "You don't even know me!" She strolled to the door. "You're letting this fool get in your head just like Jimmy." She slammed the door behind her.

Was she right ? I needed to talk to my best friend and get all of this sorted out.
