"What?" MacKenzie asks.

I shush her and tidy up the room. I drag her into a different room. I quickly tidy it up.

As I was about to sneak back upstairs, she grabs my arm, stopping me. I quickly lean in and whisper "I'll tell you upstairs."

We get back to the kitchen and I see that mother was awake. She liked to eat facing the back sliding door. I motion for Mackenzie to creep upstairs first. I follow. We carefully walk to her Mackenzie's room, avoiding the creaking floor boards.

She waits for me outside her room. When I arrive, we go sit on her bed after she closes the door.

"So you never knew your name?"

"I think my birth certificate has my name on it, but i don't know where it is."

"I might." MacKenzie says softly.

"What?"

"Mom had me hide the births certificates."

"Where?"

"I put the box in the empty room."

I stand up and run to my room. I hear Mackenzie follow. I look around. Mackenzie arrives as I open the closet. There in the corner of the sparsely occupied closet was a box. I pull it down and sit on the floor. I set the box in front of me. I open it and look for an odd certificate.

"Go eat." I tell Mackenzie, "I'll tell you what I find."

"Okay. She says hesitantly as she gets up and slowly walks out.

I grab the last few pieces of paper out of the box. They were adoption papers, an obituary and a birth certificate. I decide to look at the certificate. Apparently my name was Nathaniel and my birthday is tomorrow, April 1st.

I pull out the obituary. It was about a couple having a tragic end. It didn't go into much detail, but it did say there was an explosion at their job.

Finally the adoption papers for a Nathaniel, it was for me. The person I thought as mother was actually my aunt, meaning Mackenzie was my cousin. I was adopted when I was two, according to the adoption papers. And according to the obituary I was orphaned when I was one.

I shove everything back into place. I wipe my eyes as I go back to the stairs. I start to walk down when the servant bell sounds. I walk faster.

I arrive at the kitchen and I see Mackenzie and the person that I had thought was my mother. "Go wake up the group of friends." My "mother" says.

"Yes madam.? I say. I turn around and walk upstairs. I hear Mackenzie say something. I hear someone follow me. I go to my "brother's" room as my aunt called them.

"Hey." Mackenzie whispers.

I motion for her to hold on as I walk into the room with a squirt bottle. Mackenzie stays out of the room. Screams come from the room. Screams of "Awww!!!" And "I freaking hate you" are heard

The group of friends exit the room and I stop by Mackenzie. "So?"

"My name is Nathaniel." I tell her.

"Nathaniel. It kind of suits you. Anything else?"

"Yes. I found out alot about myself." I say when we reach the stairs.
