I walk into her room.  A suitcase was lying open on her bed. Mackenzie walks out of her closet followed by Aubry.  They were both carrying clothes. I drop my bed roll by the door and walk over to her bed.

"Whatcha got?" Mackenzie asks.

"That safety bx thing that you had told me about a few days ago." Mackenzie drops her clothes on the bed. "Need any help?"

"Nah, we should be good." Aubry drops what she was carrying on the bed. "What's for lunch?"

"I'm thinking of getting Mackenzie's favorite food." I reply. Mackenzie smiles a sad smile. "I was about to go order it." I turn around to go.

Mackenzie rushes around Aubry and grabs my shoulder. She spins me around and pulls me into a hug. She sniffles.

I hug her back. We don't say anything, we just hug until she breaks it off.  She wipes her eyes as she goes back to her bed. I smile at Aubry as I turn and leave.

I grab the phone and dial, Mackenzie's favorite restaurant. When they answer, I place an order using my aunt's card to pay for it.

My side was starting to hurt from standing for so long, so I walk into the living room and sit on the couch.  As soon as I sit, I hear a ruckus coming from upstairs I smile as I get up of the couch.

As I'm walking up the stairs the ruckus becomes louder. As I crest the stairs a loud crash emits from Mackenzie's room. I rush to the door, sliding into the opening.

The scene before me was enough to get me to start laughing aloud.  Mackenzie was trying to grab something from Aubry, Aubry's shortness wasn't enough to give Mackenzie an advantage.

As I'm watching Mackenzie manages to grab what Aubry was protecting. She rips it away. When they finally register my laughter, they turn to me.

"What are you doing?" I ask, laughing.

"I was trying to protect my phone. Aubry says. Her hand darts out to grab the phone from Mackenzie, but Mackenzie was expecting that that.

I open my mouth to ask about her phone, but my question was stalled by the ringing of the doorbell. "Food's here." I say, leading the way downstairs.
