Chapter 9

Liz POV

This past summer with Sam has been so amazing. I truly love this girl so much. I would do anything for her. I thank the gods above for bringing Sam into my life, my world. She brightens up my day and is the sweetest girl I have ever met.

What if something happened and you knew it was mistake?

Do you still love them even if they made a  mistake ? Well, this is how I feel so far. Here's how it happened.

Me, Sam, Katelynn and Bella went to a party that Nick, the school's jock was hosting before we started our Senior year. The house was pretty huge and had a built in pool. Everyone was either outside or inside. Either way, the place was crowded.

Me and Sam went to go get drinks while Katelynn and Bella went to find their boyfriends.

While me and Sam were gwtting drinks, Nick comes behind me and says, "Look what the cat dragged in."

"Shut up, Nick." I say.

"When you gonna let me hit that. You know lesbians are hot."

"In your dreams asshole." I said and walked away.

"Why are you being such a bitch, Liz." he said.

I scoffed, "Because your nothing but a self-centered asshole. I bet your girlfriend doesn't even know how many girls you slept with in the last 2 years you've been with her."

The crowd is then silenced and looks at the two of us.

"I bet your girlfriend doesn't know how many guys you've slept with." he says. Now I was mad.

"You don't even know one thing about me Nick. Those were just rumors that you and everyone else invented in your pathetic brains. My parents died, that's why I live alone. I haven't slept with anyone other than my girlfriend who I love. Before you go, and make assumptions about people, look at yourself. You are pathetic and your a disgusting excuse for a man." I turned and walked away from the house slamming the door behind me.

I walked toward the pool and grabbed a bottle and drank it. After 2 full bottles of vodka and whiskey, I was gone. Faded. I decided to look for Sam and the girls because I was ready to go home. My phone vibrated, it was a text from Katelynn.

Me and Bella left with our boyfriends. Look for Sam, She is still there. -K

I replied back saying I am and that its almost 3 am and I'm ready to leave.

I was looking all over the place for Sam. I couldn't find her and I had to go to the bathroom so I was checking the rooms to see which one it is. Next thing, I know I see Sam passed out laying down on the bed, naked with no other than Nick. The guy I despised so much. I couldn't move.

It felt like my world was crassing down. I left Nick's house, peed in a bush, and ran to my house. I cried so much that night.

I feel so heartbroken. Why would she do that to me? I thought she loved me. I don't know what to do but give her a chance to explain. I texted Katelynn telling her what happened and she came over right away. I hugged her and cried. Even though, it was 6 am on a Saturday night. That's what friends are for.

"Why would she do that ? Drunk or not...And I don't think she was capable of that. We have gone to other parties and nothing like that happened so why last night ?" she said making coffee.

"I don't know." I said.

"Just let her explain." she said.

"You're right." I said, sipping the coffee. This is exactly what I needed after that massive headache from last night.

My thoughts broke away when I see Sam in my kitchen looking like crap.

"What happened to you ? You look like buzz kill."Katelynn said.

"Noted."I said, taking another sip of coffee.

"I don't remember anything. All I remember was looking for you after your arguement with Nick. I asked him and said 'I don't know.' I took a sip of his drink cause I was thristy. It tasted funny and I passed out, then after that I remember being on his bed naked this morning. I came here when I realized what happened."  she said ending it.

"I thought you cheated on me." I said. I could not believe it. I thought she cheated on me. I thought wrong. I didn't feel so empty now, or broken.

"Why would I cheat on you ?" she said. "We have gone to other parties and I never once cheated on you."

"She has a point. Its not her fault that Nick roofied her." Katelynn stated. I completely forgot.

"Nick roofied her ?!?!" I nearly shouted.

"Yes. After taking Nick's drink she passed out. She doesnt remember anything but waking up in his bed. The only option is Nick roofied her."

"I'm not going to Nick's parties ever again." Sam said.

"I am so killing him, he is dead." I gritted my teeth.

Monday rolled around which was the first day of Senior year. Thank god I don't have to deal with these morons after I graduate. I wasn't even concentrated on that, the only thing on my mind was killing this asshole. How dare he roofie my girlfriend ? My girlfriend. He is going to get it today

I spotted him talking to his friends about Sam and his "little plan to get rid of her". My blood was boiling. I was heated.

I came up to him and punched him, giving him a black eye.

"What the fuck was that for ?" Nick said.

"That was for roofing my girlfriend on Friday. What the hell is wrong with you ? And don't fucking deny it. I just heard you talking with your airheaded friends about your stupid fucking plan. It didn't work by the way. Me and Sam are still together. Get that shit through your skull. No girl wants an asshole douchebag that thinks mighty of himself. I'm better off with girls than with guys like you." I spit on him and left the scene. Everyone, mostly the guys, were high fiving me saying 'You're the man Liz.'

I couldn't help but to laugh and smile. The rest of the day went by fast and while I was putting my books away, I felt someone behind me. Nick.

"You will be mine." he said. And left. All I did was smile and laugh. This kid has another thing coming.

"What was that all about."Sam said.

"Nothing, just Nick being stupid."  I said. Nothing will tear apart from Sam. Not even Nick.
