The last Straw: Sabine's Destiny

Was it a dream?

(Im so sorry everyone for the lack of updates!)

Sabine and Ezra woke up next to eachother, Ezra was holding onto Sabine's arm. Sabine was the first one to wake up, she sat up and softly moved Ezra's arm to his side. She stood up and walked to the door and opened it. To her suprise everything was now powered, the lights, the doors, everything! She turned back twords Ezra, "Ezra!" He shot up and looked over. "Wha~?" "The power's on!" Ezra stood up and walked over to her. "Do you think the comms work?" Sabine walked to her comm link. "Anyone there? This is Sabine Wren, Hera? Kanan? Zeb?" The room fell silent, "Hey Ezra?" She turned around. He was gone. "Great."

Ezra was walking around the base searching for anything, then a wave of hatred fell over him. His vision fell dark, "S-Sabine?" Ezra fell down he felt himself gasping for air. He blacked out.

Sabine was sitting on the stairs rightoutisde the door, she was getting alittle worried but thought Ezra was fine. She kept trying her comms. She finally heard something. "Hello? Kanan? Hera?!" Hera's voice was distant, "St-Desr- Need help- Hur~" "Hera!" Sabine looked around "Ezra?" She started walking throughout the base. "Ezra?!" There was an unpleasant silence as she kept looking.

Ezra woke up in a dark room, The sound of a lightsaber filled the room. He called for help but there was nothing. Vader's breathing got closer. "We meet one last time Bridger." Ezra struggled in the chair. "Let me go!" Ezra kept calling for help.

Sabine kept searching rapily running through the base. She heard faint yells but the base was to big, "Ezra!!" She called out as loud as she could. The west side of the base was dark, she could barley see. She found open rooms and frantically looked through them. Sabine called for Ezra like no tomorrow.

Ezra heard Sabine get closer and closer. "Help!" Vader started to choke Ezra. Ezra grabbed his neck. Vader got closer, "Join me or die." Ezra shook his head no. "I-im not~" Vader choked Ezra harder his fist almost fully clentched. Sabine burst through the door. "Ezra!" Vader looked forward as the young Rebel shouted, he started to choke her. Ezra held his neck, he was coughing. Vader unleashed his lightsaber right through Ezra.
Sabine sat up sweating. "Ezra!!" Ezra was next to her as he jolted upwards. "What?!" Sabines heart was pounding as she looked over. "E-ezra?" She hugged him as tightly as she could she started to explain her whole entire dream to him. As she ended her story the lights started to flicker on. Someone else was here. But who?
