The last Straw: Sabine's Destiny

The Darksaber

The darksaber has been withheld in the Manalorians for a very long time and now the Lord of the Sith has it in his hands about ready to leave the planet and Sabine's chance at getting it back is slim if she doesn't find it.

Sabine and the gang were looking for the sword every inch of the city. Vader's ship was ready to take off. One of the mandalorians went to check it.

Jak was moving close to the ship. He landed and turned off everything electronic on his suit. He hid around a building, he watched the ship closely. The back door closed, he rushed for the wing and hopped on it. He planted an explosive charge on it and ran. The ship took off into the air. Jak looked at it and smirked as he set off the charge and the ship crashed down back to Lothal a few miles away. He turned his jetpack on and flew twords the crash site. The trooper bodies where scattered around and blood was just everywhere. Vader was no where to be found though. Jak called Sabine through the com. "Nothing to report im comin~" the coms cut. "Hello, Sabine?!" A glowing red lightsaber hurls twords him, Jak used his jetpack to fly over it. "Give it back!" Jak called out to Vader. "Not a chance." Darth Vader said in a lower voice than usual. His voice gave chills down Jaks body. "I'll have to take it from you." He started to shoot his blaster pistol at Vader, Vader blocked the shot as he started to force choke him. Jak grabbed his neck and kept shooting the bolts past by him. Vader clenched harder and pulled him closer and closer to himself. "You want this?" Vader pull the Darksaber out and ignited it. Jaks eyes widened under his mask "No not any~" Jak got impalled by the Black shining saber. Vader would throw him to the ground and turned the coms back on, Sabine was calling for him as soon as he turned it on. "This is the Rebellions last hope. A backstreet Hipster girl?" Vader dropped the comunication device and called for his ship to be sent to him. "My job on Lothal is done. We have the Darksaber." 

Meanwhile back at the city center, Sabine was frantically searching for an answer from Jak. Ezra slid up behind her and embraced her. "Don't worry Sabine we'll find him and the Darksaber, even if we die trying." Sabine shook him off, "I think Jak is dead..." "Wait what?!" "He won't contact me back." "Mabey it's jammed." "Mabey..." she sighed. Mabey we should look tomorrow my eyes are about ready to die. "Okay." Ezra picked her up and held her in his arms. "I'll carry you to my old home and get the others.

When Ezra got the others and brought them back home Sabine was sound asleep. The others found old rooms to sleep in and Zeb slept on the couch along with Chopper. Ezra climbed in with Sabine and they all soundly fell asleep. They took turned throughout the night to patrol around. Sabine would finally wake up in her dream to be found beside Vader and the Padawan.
