The last Straw: Sabine's Destiny

Epilogue

Mandalore was now viewed as one of the most self sufficient planets in the Galaxy, able to take anyone, or anything on. And prosper in battle.

The Ghost crew was on the Ghost. Sabine was with Ezra in his room. The others were asleep in their rooms. Chopper however was still up just roaming around the ship.

Sabine turned to Ezra, "Do you think we'll ever find who helped Vader?" She asked. "Well if we find Vader, which we will. We'll find his little buddy." Ezra said reassuring her. "Okay. Im still worried about my mother though, what if he goes back when we're not there?" She asked. "Don't worry! Mandalore has two Republic bases on it." "Even if, what about if he-" Sabine was cut off by Ezra giving her a kiss. "Hey I-" He kissed her again. Sabine smiled and grabbed him pulling him towards her giving him a loving kiss. Sabine laid down pulling him ontop of her still kissing him. Reaching her hand to his hips. Ezra began to slowly and softly kiss her neck. Sabine moved her hands lower. Ezra kissed lower and lower. Sabine giggled. Chopper was walking past Ezra's room when he heard strange noises coming from his room. Chopper opened the door. Chopper wailed in astonishment at what he was looking at. Ezra without hesitation got off Sabine. Sabine quickly threw a blanket over herself, covering her body all except her head. Ezra did aswell. Footsteps could be heard coming down the hallway. "Chopper what's wrong?!" Hera's voice could be heard. Sabine got behind Ezra and laid down unable to be seen from the doorway. Hera stopped behind Chopper and looked into the room. "It's just Ezra Chop, go to sleep." Hera said. She then yawned and walked back to her room. Chopper closed the door and could be heard hitting a wall as he went away. Sabine rubbed Ezra's back. "Next time..." She gave him a light kiss on the cheek. "Yeah." Ezra replied as he rolled over and held her close. "Where do you think we'll go next? We haven't landed on a planet in three days..." Ezra asked. "Im not sure, we'll need to land so we can find Vader." She replied. "Im not sure Vader is much of a worry. Have you heard about the new base the Empire is building?" Ezra asked. "Yeah. Im sure we'll have to take it down... it's not like the Republic will help. Or even the Senate." She said grimly. "True. Ah, enough about that. It's to depressing." He smiled as he kissed her on the lips. "Get some rest bean. We'll need it for tomorrow if we land." Ezra said. Sabine nodded and held close to him all night.

Over the next few days the Ghost crew stayed on Yavin 4. They found a large living space of the Yavin Republic base.. They made that their home until the Empire took action onto the now finished Deathstar. News spread across the Galaxy that a super weapon capable of taking down whole planets was in the Empires hands. The Ghost crew helped win the battle of Scarif. Making themselves scarce they flew to the outskirts of the Galaxy.
