I know, I know. I'VE TAKEN CENTURIES TO UPDATE.
I'm so sorry it has taken so long for me to type out this last chapter of Nick and Delilah's story.
A'leves have sucked out all the creativity from me but also, maybe I just wasn't ready for this story to end.
My writing style has changed drastically from when I first wrote this but this story will always have a special place in my heart, like the song always has.
To be honest, when I first started writing this story I wasn't very serious about it. But over time I've fallen in love with my quirky characters and found it hard to finally finish it off. I just couldn't help but give these two their happy ending, no matter how much I tried to make it 'realistic' and 'sad but touching.' These goofballs just deserved it too much. Or maybe that's just my biased opinion.
I've really enjoyed writing this, and reading all of your entertaining, funny and sweet comments. I may not have time to reply to all of them, but they make my day.
I hope you enjoyed Nick and Delilah's story and if you've stuck with them till the end, congratulations.
Thank you so much for the support.
Love,
R.
P.S. Delilah and Nick, I'm really going to miss you now that the question of how your story will end is no longer at the back of my mind.
