Prologue: Sapphire

Hi. I'm Sapphire. I'm you're worst nightmare. You don't want to mess with me. Unless you happen to be one of my friends. Then you're good. Won't have to worry about anything except my extreme sarcasm and sassyness.

I'm a foster child. I know how to take care of myself. My parents were killed when I was seven, back when I lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

My favorite food is.. wait a second. You don't need to know my private life. Deal? If no, I will track you down and you won't survive the week. Ok? Ok.

I have pretty bad allergies. Cats. Ugh. If I get close to one, I start sneezing uncontrollably and I have to carry an Epi-Pen with me all the time. It's awful, especially since my neighbors have a cat.

I absolutely love the cold. I was born in a blizzard, and my mom always said that was what made me crazy. One time, I was at the pool with my friends in Mini and we were having a contest: to see who could stay in the snow the longest after getting in the pool. I won. I stayed for 10 minutes. I didn't even get frostbite! I'm amazing.

Life in Mini was really fun. I was adopted by a nice family in Tampa. It's ok, but it's so hot out all the time. At least there's an ice rink and a good hockey team that I can play with. And there's Raven and Feonix there too. Life's good.
