Selene

"Yo I think they're down here dawg!" One of the grunts called to the other.

"Yo man I'm not sure." The other replied, sounding uncertain. Selene and Elio had dove behind some boxes, Elio was holding his newfound Pokeball tentatively in his hand. He kept glancing down at it to make sure it was still there. Selene couldn't help but smile at the sight of the new trainer, he looked so excited. It saddened her that she couldn't remember that feeling.

"Dude come on, where else would they go? Nobody can even get to Ten Carat hill since its blocked off by those rocks." The first grunt reasons, Selene peeked out from behind the boxes and saw the two were standing in the middle of the room, having an argument.

"What if they climbed over the rocks. Or that demon thing helped them over them?" The second grunt wondered, Selene noticed a boombox resting on his shoulder. Selene was annoyed they called her friend a demon but she held her tongue.

"Well then the two guys Marrow sent to check it out will find them!" The first grunt countered.

"Fine, whatever man. I don't see them anywhere yo."

"Well they're probably hiding behind the boxes." The two trainers tensed as the grunts strode forward, pushing over boxes and kicking them. Seleme met Elio's eyes and they shared a nod, before the grunts could reach the box with the rescued Pokemon the trainers jumped out, Pokeballs in hand.

"Yo here they are! Beat, play that battle track 'cuz we got us a fight!" The one grunt ordered, his friend fiddled with the boombox until a song blasted from the speakers. The grunts did an odd pose where they put their arms in a position like they were lifting a box. Then they both called out Pokemon from Nest Balls. The two Pokemon were Salandit and Zubat.

Selene pitched the unnamed Pokeball into the air and in a flash of light her friend Nihilego appeared. Cheerfully spinning in a circle and looking full of energy and free of wounds.

Elio carefully opened his Pokeball, a blue seal Pokemon jumped out and landed on its tail, and bowed then the Pokemon went down onto all threes.

"A Popplio? Awesome! I just hope its a girl." Elio said, Selene wondered why but before she could ask the opposition made their move.

"Zubat, use your sick beats with supersonic yo!" Beat shouted, his Zubat screeched so loudly that all four battlers had to cover their ears. Nihilego appeared to be fine but Popplio was teetering back and forth dizzily.

"Nihilego, use power gem on Salandit!" Selene shouted. Four glowing rocks appeared around her Pokemon friend and they charge forward, exploding when coming into contact with the Salandit. The lizard Pokemon flew back and fainted, the grunt grumbling something inaudible as he returned it.

"Popplio, snap out of it! Use water gun!" Elio shouted, sounding nervous. However Popplio slapped itself in the face. "Oh man!"

Beat saw his opportunity and gave the command for his Pokemon to attack. "Poison fang!" His Zubat flew forward, its fangs extended and adapted a purple hue. The bat Pokemon sunk its fangs into Popplio, causing the seal Pokemon to bark in pain. At least it wasn't confused anymore.

"Popplio use pound while they're close!" Elio yelled, but his Pokemon didn't respond. The water type pried its paw free and tottered around on its tail, wailing in pain and clutching the wounded arm. Elio shot Selene a look that said 'A little help here?' Selene got the message and turned to the battle.
