Before we start with today's chapter I just want to say that if you've been reading the book BEFORE this part was published on April 2nd, then you'll know the female protagonist was named Luna. Well I goofed, I originally planned for her name to be Selene but I slipped up and called her Luna. I have edited every previous chapter and the description to replace 'Luna' with 'Selene.' This was just me clearing up confusion. Now onto the chapter!

Elio

The boat sped through the water to Akala island. Elio kept glancing back at Melemele island until it was just a black speck in the water, hoping for a beacon of light to shine from the temple and for Tapu Koko to get rid of those numskulls. However there was no such luck.

"We should be at Akala by morning, get some sleep." Selene told him, the word sleep made him want to nod off.

"What about you?" Elio asked.

"I'll be fine, I have plenty of energy left, definitely enough to get us to Akala." Selene assured him.

"But it's at least ten more hours." Elio protested, Selene shook her head.

"We can sneak in some rest when we get there. Come on just trust me on this."

"Fine," Elio conceded. "But if you start to fall asleep you better wake me up."

"You don't know how to drive a boat." Selene reminded him.

"I meant so I know to keep watch. Don't want a curious Sharpedo attacking the boat if we're stopped in the middle of the ocean.

Selene's face paled."Sh-sharpedo?" Her voice shook.

"Don't worry about it!" Elio said quickly. "They're really rare and almost never hostile." Selene seemed to relax slightly.

"But seriously, get some rest. I can handle this." Selene ordered, Elio lay down in the most comfortable, and least likely to throw him into a wall place and shut his eyes.

Elio awoke to being thrown into a wall. He hadn't accounted for if the boat came to a sudden stop forward, so he got up clutching his throbbing head in one hand, and rubbing his eyes one at a time in the other.

"Sorry Elio!" Selene apologized, leaving the controls. "I should've woke you but we were coming in too fast and I had to concentrate and stop and I'm really sorry!"

"It's fine Selene." Elio told her, he looked around. They had docked in the Marina, two Team Skull grunts could be seen outside the building. They hopped off the boat and went to the doors, the duo charged out the doors, Selene flung her Pokeball into the air, releasing Nihilego.

The surprised grunts reached for their Pokeballs, and sloppily called out a Yungoos and Zubat.

"Nihilego use psychic!" Selene yelled, her Pokemon picked up the two opponents with psychic energy and bashed them together. The Pokemon fell unconscious and Nihilego dropped them.

The Team Skull grunts returned their Pokemon and shared a glance.

"Yo dawgs, we don't want to admit we lost to anybody so we're just gonna pretend we didn't see you yo." The one grunt said. Selene recalled Nihilego and they turned their attention to their surroundings.

The sun was just beginning to rise, so most of the town was tinted pink. To their left was the Marina, to the right was a small river of water, a large tower that Elio assumed was a lighthouse stood on the other side, no light emitted from it. Further ahead was the Akala Tourist Bureau, which was obviously trashed, then there was a house that had loud noises from coming from it. Elio figured that was where the Team Skull members were, since none of them were in the streets.
