Chapter One: Finding Out

Eliza's pov
"Eliza? Will you come here?" Arizona asks from the couch. "Sure. Coming."
I call as I go to sit next to her on the couch. Tonight is our fifth date. So far it has been magical and I'm falling for her, hard and fast. She looks scared and worried. I place a hand on top of hers and she gives me a worried smile. "Eliza... I like you a lot, but I need to tell you something before we start to get serious." She says, her blue eyes filled with worry. "Whatever it is, I'm here for you." I promise, kissing her temple. She smiles at me, making my heart pound in my chest. "Close you eyes." She murmurs. I close my eyes tight. I hear Velcro being undone and something being set on the floor.
Arizona's pov
I take off my leg and set it aside. I take Eliza's soft, warm hand in mine and place it on my stump. She moves her thumb over my scar. "Open your eyes." I whisper.

Eliza's pov
As I feel her leg, I realize what she's trying to tell me. She's an amputee. I open my eyes and use my hand that isn't on her leg to force her to look at me. "Eliza... please don't leave. I haven't felt this way about someone since Callie. I want to build a life with you. Please don't leave me." She begs, tears pooling in her startling blue eyes. "Oh baby. I'm not going anywhere. So what? You have one leg. That makes you badass, which is really hot. I like you for you. I'm not going anywhere, Arizona. We are going to build a great life together." I promise as I lean down and kiss her scar. "Thank you." She murmurs. I take her in my strong arms and hold her close. She smells like pomegranates. I kiss her forehead and she snuggles into me, tears threatening to spill from her ocean blue eyes. "Don't cry, baby. Please don't cry. I'm right here, Arizona." I say. She looks up at me and I kiss her soft pink lips. "I'm so ugly. You can leave. Honestly." She says. "Oh baby. You are gorgeous, scars and all. I'm not leaving Arizona."
I promise. She yawns and snuggles closer. "Sleep, love. It's been a long day." I murmur as she falls asleep on my chest. She's so gorgeous, with her bright blue eyes and long blond hair. She's funny and caring. I think I'm falling in love with her...
