Eliza's pov
I'm cooking dinner for Arizona when she comes in the door. "Hey baby! How was work?" I ask. I glance up and notice her eyes and full of tears. "Arizona, what's wrong?" I ask, turning off the stove and rushing to her. She lets out a strangled sob. I take her into my arms and pick her up bridal style. I carry her to the couch and sit down with her in my lap. "Honey how can I help?" I ask. "Hold me closer." She whispers. I hold her closer and she clings to my shirt. "Skin. Please. I need to feel your skin on mine." She begs. She sits up and I take her shirt off. She takes mine off and we lay against each other, skin on skin. "Better love!" I ask gently. "Yes. Thank you." She says. "Bad day huh?" I ask. She rests her head on my chest, listening to my heart beat. "I lost more than half the kids who were on the bus that crashed." She whispers. "Oh baby. You tried your best baby." I soothe. She smiles sadly up at me and clings to me. Her blue eyes are heavy. "Sleep love. I got you." I soothe. She falls asleep in my arms. I kiss her head and hold her close to me as she sleeps.
