Eliza's pov
I enter the house, locking the door behind me. "Arizona?" I call, dropping my purse on the table. I notice the back door ajar and make my way outside. I find Arizona sitting on the back steps, head in her hands. I sit down next to her and wrap an arm around her. She breaks down sobbing at this small act of love. I pull her into me and she sobs into my chest, soaking my shirt with her tears, but I don't care. All I care about is making her hurt go away. "Shh... let it out. I'm here." I soothe, rubbing her back gently. I hold her as she cries for what seems like hours. It breaks me to see her like this, crying and broken. When she finally stops crying, I cup her face gently and wipe her tears away. "What's wrong baby?" I ask softly, looking deep into her bright blue eyes. "Bad day. I lost an unborn baby and there was a car crash. I lost 80 percent of my patients." She says softly. "Oh baby. Shh... just let me hold you." I soothe, pulling her closer to me. I hold her in my arms, comforting her the best I can. After a few hours, Arizona has fallen asleep in my arms. I kiss her temple and carry her inside and too bed. She lays in my arms as she sleeps. I'll always be there to comfort her. I love her so much.
