Eliza's pov
I've just finished repairing a femur bone when Owen comes bursting into the OR. "Dr. Minnick, have someone else close up. Scrub out and hurry. I need you to come with me." Owen orders. "Why?" I ask as I go to the sink room to scrub out. "It's Arizona." He says, his eyes sad. "What?!" I ask. "Just come." He says, gently taking me by the arm and steering me towards the door. We rush to the ER and enter room one. "Oh god. Arizona..." I gasp, tears filling my eyes. She's laying there, out cold, her beautiful face bruised. Doctors are rushing around. "Eliza, you can have a minute alone with her but then I have to take her to surgery if we want the chance she will wake up to be at its greatest. Everyone out!" Amelia orders. Everyone clears out leaving me along with my wife. "Oh god Arizona. Stay alive for me, ok? I love you so much. Just stay alive for me and Sofia. And our baby. We need you." I beg, taking her hand and placing it on my swollen belly. "Eliza... I'm sorry we have to take her to surgery." Amelia says, coming back into the room. I place on last kiss on Arizona's head and back away so they can roll her to surgery. I breakdown the moment she is gone and feel strong arms around me. "She'll be ok, Eliza. She's a tough one." Alex soothes as he holds me. I hope he's right...

5 days later... (still Eliza's pov)
Arizona still hasn't woken up. She's doing fine except for the fact that she's still asleep. This sucks. I have been by her side the entire time, only leaving to eat, use the bathroom, and shower. I start to sing to her, hoping it'll make her wake up:

I hear Eliza's soothing voice singing a song. I have to open my eyes and wake up. She needs me, Sofia needs me, and our unborn child needs me. I stir and open my eyes. I find Eliza, resting her head on my thigh, spaced out. "Eliza." I say, my voice raspy. "Arizona?" She asks, lifting her head up. "Hey baby." I whisper. She lets out a relived laugh as happy tears stream down her face. She crawls onto the bed and gently wraps me in her arms. "Oh god I missed you." She says. " I missed you too."
