Jeron couldn't believe what he just heard. But when he glanced sideways, the smile on Mika's face and the joy in her eyes threw all his doubts away.

He wasn't able to restrain himself from pulling her close and planting a sweet kiss on her cheek.

Their friends' eyes widened at the sight of the two.

"Ehem. Sabi ni Father, peace daw! Hindi kiss! Bingi lang, Teng?", Ara growled in a low voice, and her teammates let out soft giggles. The Green Archers were just smiling silently, feeling proud of their captain.

Jeron mouthed a 'sorry' while Mika placed her index finger in front of her lips, telling her friends to keep quiet. He grabbed her hand and intertwined it with his, holding it until the mass ended.

As soon as all of them got out of the chapel, the senior Lady Spikers circled around Mika.

"Ano yung eksena niyo kanina ha?", Ara asked her, and the rest of their teammates eyed the two.

"Walaaa. Wag nga kayong ano.", Mika responded nervously.

"Girls, give them a break. Tara, gimik na lang tayo.", Thomas intervened, pulling his girlfriend's arm.

"Ay gusto ko yang idea mo, Papa Thomas!", Carol shrieked.

"Archers and Spikers will bounce back next season!", Jason shouted.

The two teams cheered and began discussing the best place to hang out. They all started walking, with the recently official couple situated at the back.

"You said yes earlier, right?", Jeron mumbled.

Mika stopped herself from chuckling, and decided to play with him a little.

"Huh? Anong yes? Sabi ko Ye. I was saying my name."

"What?!", Jeron blurted out, his voice just above a whisper.

"Joke lang! Ito naman, nakahalik ka na nga eh. HHWW pa.", she whispered back.

Jeron stopped on his tracks, causing Mika to do the same. The rest of the group kept on walking, not noticing the two.

"Bakit tayo huminto?", Mika asked.

"Can we spend the rest of the day together? Tayong dalawa lang?"

"O..kay... Pero pano sila?", she pointed at their friends who were already at a good far distance from them.

"Malalaki na yang mga yan. Babawi na lang ako sa teammates mo. And it's been months since the last time we went out.", Jeron responded, looking downward.

"Sige, payag na ako.", Mika replied, causing her boyfriend's face to light up. Her heart jumped upon the realization that she's officially in a relationship with Jeron Teng.

"You trust me, right?", the guy asked.

"As certain as the fact na tayo na.", she said reassuringly.
