Also me being triggered and a piece of trash sobbing on the floor like the two year old I am

Okay, so I was playing with some of my friends, and there's this one boy in it. He is ANNOYING AS HECK, but I can't do anything about it because everyone but me and my best friend thinks he's hilarious.
So, yesterday we were doing random things and the boy kept on dabbing and saying, "I'm gay." And the crowd went flipping wild.

So what if someone's gay?
So what if they like the same gender??
WHY IS THAT A JOKE???

I know it may be a joke, but it still can be offending to those who are LGBT+. ((Nobody in my friend group except me and my best friend are LGBT+))
((And no, we are not a couple))

Okay I know I'm being a triggered little Sayonarik, but still. Why make jokes about this when you yourself don't know that much about being LGBT+?Love is love. Remember those movies where the main characters had a "forbidden love" and yet people supported them? Then why is being gay such a problem?

Okay, yes, I know I am triggered and raging, but hey. If it is a joke, then... I'm still slightly triggered. But I know I'm overreacting. People do this all the time, and I can't really say anything cuz I'm only ((*censored*)) years old.
Actually, this was more of a rant about people being mean to LGBT+ people. They don't get it. Mmkay bye. I'll drink some water and take a nap.

I think my friend and I are considered edgy in our friend group because we apparently don't like memes. Which is not true, I just don't like overused ones. *squint at friend group*
