As the days go by
I find myself constantly
Looking at life passing by
Seemingly rapidly yet often slowly

There are days
When it goes too fast
On others days
I wish it would be fast

Lord, teach me
To treasure each day
And not just take it
As by the way

Sometimes I wish
The pain would go away
But I know that this
Might be here to stay

Help me to overcome the pain
As I go through each day
In Your Grace I would surely gain
Much strength to endure each day
