The deep wounds
Have hurt you
The memories
Have scarred you
Your heart
Is broken
And your life
Is shaken
Jesus can heal
Your deep wounds
And indeed will peel
Away the scarred wounds
He can mend
Your broken heart
And your life amend
To give you a new start
To build a new life
In His Mercy and Grace
Without any strife
Safe in His place
