Am I Willing?

The story of David Livingstone
Got me pondering
I ask myself the question
Of whether I am willing

Am I willing to
To go the extra mile
Am I ready to
Face all the rile

Will I ever be like
David Livingstone
And be willing to die
For the Chief Cornerstone

Such compassion
For the lost
Is only by His passion
With a cost

Am I willing
To take up the cross
Just like Jesus was willing
So that none may suffer loss

Help me Lord
Through the road
That I may uphold
To preach Your Word

To save the lost
And build the kingdom
Is what You desire most
For all to have freedom
