Jayden
"She is the best thing that happened to me," I told my family who now lay in a grave.
The cacophony of crickets, the rustling of leaves and my own uneven heart beat was so clearly audible through the silence of night that it scared me that it was a the calm before the storm. I leaned back on the nearest tree, the wood splinters poking me but I was too tired to get back up.
I am the strongest, cruellest and sharpest you will meet but in that moment I just stared at the bracelet in my hand. The bracelet was the one I stole from Annalise way back and I have seen her troubled because of it.
A tear threatened to well in my eyes but I inhaled sharply causing some small animal hidden in the grass scuffle away.
My supernatural senses picked up a noise familiar yet not so friendly.
"She walked into his trap." Kasper quiet voice made me pull myself up from the resting position.
"He will not kill her," I said with utter confidence.
"I know but she is going to find out everything." Why was he telling me all this?
Was he suddenly supporting me?
"We need to save her Jayden." He said in a stiff tone like he wanted to do it alone but had to ask for my help.
I needed to save her because I need to let her know I loved her even if I was probably her worst enemy.

My parents and my brother were killed by some fairy since my father was a powerful supernatural creature. Or that is what Silas told me when I was four and started training under his wing.
Yes, you most probably guessed it right. I was Silas' most trusted soldier he raised from a very young age. I was moulded into perfect follower like the rest of his army. In the early stage, I was trained for magic, mastering almost everything including the mind magic which even Silas couldn't to himself.
I was made into a being with manipulation skills, lethal charms and sharp mind. I was made into a Knight Crusher. Among my teamates I was feared because I can tame magic like no one else and everyone knew my father was most trusted by Silas until some fairy killed him. I wanted to kill that fairy but I never disobeyed Silas. He was the King for me.
So when I was sent to guard and improve Annalise I had no idea that she will be my biggest challenge yet. Silas trusted me enough to choose me to make his daughter ready to take the throne. I have heard about her a lot but never being stepped out of the palace before I have never seen her.
I was told not to tell her my real identity or her real identity as well. I was just sent there to pretend as a fellow student, get to know her. I heard she was cursed but had no idea what the curse was.
At first glance, Annalise Curtin was an ice cold bitch. She was was other students said, ice princess. People instinctively feared her and kept their distance. But I am Jayden Wallace and that meant I will leave no stone unturned to follow orders.
"Can we talk?" I had asked her with my effective flirty smirk.
"About?" Her tone just put many rumours in place.
She was cold, blunt and not an easy one. She even kicked me ending the conversation in style. My attempt was weak and ended in failure. I had to get close to her.
I tried challenging her to battle to see how good she actually was and it surprised by how much ease she tackled me. The fight, the strength was in her blood. To stand up to me in a fight took more than expertise and she had that more factor. She was not afraid to shed some blood and took a hit too boldly for a girl that slender.
