Hey guys ...here's the 8th chapter! Enjoy !!!!

    Aaran's Point of View

"I have sent Aahana to welcome our guests", she said with a sardonic grin as soon as I entered her chambers. I was taken aback. "But my lady, the urn is yet to be found and you wanted them to witness the suffering it brings before..." She cut me short and spoke with a hint of penchant, "You know how your sister is. She really wanted to meet them and I couldn't refuse."

A chill went down my spine, knowing my twin; I knew she loves to toy with humans. Will they even survive this? I shuddered at the very thought of it.............

    Latika's Point ofView

I searched for Uttara in every room on that floor; thankfully the Motel had few lounging arrangements. Then I went to the top floor to check out another room, it was deprived of any sunlight.

There was a strange musk scent emanating from it. As soon as I entered, the door shut behind me. I gave out a small shriek, the adrenaline rush heightened my senses, my brow was sweaty, my throat parched, I tried to be as soundless in my breathing as possible to avoid any detection.

Laugh of a maniac echoed in the room, her voice was piercingly sweet. "Oh welcome Latika! At last I meet the lady who seemed to have gained a soft spot in my brother's heart!" She gave out another round of her maniac laugh. "Who...who are you? What do you want?" I stuttered.

"It's very bad on my brother's part for not introducing me. I am Aahana, your dark horse!" She said playfully. "I don't want to waste your precious time in conversing with me; don't you want to save your new found friends?" She sneered.

I looked around but it was futile, she cease to exist as if her voice was embedded in my mind. She didn't have a physical form. "Please Aahana, spare them, we have heard about the black queen and her torments, we empathize with her! Please lets...", before I could complete, someone held my neck strongly, the grip was tightening, I tried to loosen it but in vain, when I was finally released, I coughed my lungs out. "Don't you dare talk about her!" She said with anguish.

"Now listen very carefully;

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the precious one of them all?

You get to save one,

So choose wisely or there will be none.

Amidst their deepest fears,

Friends in despair,

Saving them will be one tough affair.

Save one or none.

The choice will determine their fate,

Your muse to survive or obliterate."

The voice vanished and left me in midst of darkness with a ray struggling to enter from the doorway which was loosely closed. I stepped out immediately and found voices of Uttara, Kartike & Mohit coming from three different directions. As a drop of sweat ran through my neck, I had to choose one but who??!

..................................................................................................

Soooo. That was the chapter ! Who likes the fact that Aaran is so concerned ? Who is Latika gonna choose?? What do you think about Aahana?? Don't be a silent leader !
