Javier, Kate, Gabe, Tripp, and Clementine, all sat in the cabin that they had found earlier that day. It had been almost a year since Javier and David were thrown into the Richmond Jail. Luckly, they had managed to escape. Now here they were. What Now? Clementine and Gabe were now 14. Clementine sat in front of the warm fire in the cabin a little ways from Richmond. It was their old Emergency Cabin when they only had a little bit of members. Tripp sat on the couch thinking of Elenor. Had they killed her, or was she okay back in Richmond. Kate and Javi sat on the other couch thinking of David. How he stepped up to protect them, but only killing two guards before being shot in the head. And Gabe sat beside Clementine wondering if she enjoyed his company, or if he was just being annoying.

"It's getting late," Kate said.

"I'll take first watch," Tripp said.

"Second," Clementine declared.

"Also second," Gabe said.

Clementine smirked and rolled her eyes. Kate curled up into Javier's arms on the couch. Clem crawled onto one of the two cots. Gabe on the second cot. And Tripp in a chair at the single window in the front. For some reason the guards weren't told about the cabin and that's what Clementine was thinking. Why weren't they told? Is there something in this cabin? But she was tired and she had second shift so she turned over facing the wall and quickly passed out. Gabe laid staring at her back as she slept, but he quickly fell asleep too. Javi laid on the couch with Kate in his arm's.

"What do we do now?" Kate whispered.

"What we always do... survive." Javier replied.

Kate fell asleep and soon after Javi did too. Their bags by the couch, and Tripp by the window. He sat and watched out the window for any walkers. Transferring from 12:26am to 3:26am, Tripp walked over to Clementine to wake her up. He tapped her shoulder. She turned over and nodded at him. Tripp laid on the second couch and went to sleep. Clementine walked over to the chair by the window. Gabe woke up. He walked over and pulled up a chair quietly.

"Hi Clem." He whispered.

"Hi Gabe." Clem said as she rolled her eyes.

He smirked and looked out the window. They watched and watched and watched... and watched. She was still curious about why the guards never searched the cabin. They've been looking all year for the group.

"Stay here." She told Gabe.

She walked to one of the cabins locked doors. She needed a hairpin. Kate. She crept over to Kate and slowly pulled one of her hairpins out of her hair. Clementine walked back over to the door and attempted to lockpick it. Success. She opened the door to reveal a bedroom. She walked inside and saw two double beds, a single bed, and a closet. She crept over to the closet and opened it. On the floor was a hatch. Gabe walked into the room. He accidentally bumped the wall.

"Jesus Christ!" Clementine whispered.

"Sorry. What are you doing?" Gabe asked quietly.

"Seeing where this goes." Clem whispered as she pointed to the hatch.

"Cool." Gabe exclaimed quietly.

She grabbed the handle of the hatch. There was a padlock.

"Crap!" Clementine whispered.

"It's morning now anyways lets just open it tomorrow." Gabe whispered.

They left the room and locked it again. The sun was rising. It was now 6:50. Javi woke up, then Kate. Kate stood up and her hair flew loose.

"Where is my hairpin?" She asked.

Clementine threw it under the couch quickly. Kate got on her knees and looked under the couch.

"There it is." She said.

Tripp grabbed a rifle from his bag, Javier grabbed his bat, and Clem and Gabe grabbed their pistols. They all grabbed their bags and they headed out hoping to find food. Javier, Kate and Tripp went north, while Clem and Gabe went south. They were gone for 20 minutes. A while back Jesus had left the walkie-talkies he found at Joan's Warehouse filled with stolen things.

"Do you think I'm annoying?" Gabe asked.

"You can be." Clem responded.

"Am I a good friend at least." Gabe asked.

"Your my friend, that's what matters." Clem responded.

Gabe smiled.

"Holy Shit!" Clem exclaimed.

Clem and Gabe's mouths hung open. They rushed over to what they saw. Tents, Sleeping Bags, and an unlit campfire. They searched the camp.

"Damnit! No food." Clem responded.

Clementine picked up the walkie-talkie from her pocket and Javier picked up on the other walkie-talkie.

"Nothing." Clementine told Javi.

"Us too. Let's try again tomorrow." Javi decided.

Clementine agreed and they met up outside the cabin. Kate opened the door and entered the cabin.

"What the hell!" Tripp yelled.

The cots were shot up, the wood in the fireplace was taken and the couch's were cut up. The locked door had several scrapes on it but whoever did this couldn't open the door. Just then, Gabe noticed a familiar mark on the wall.

"The New Frontier. They searched the cabin but we weren't here." Gabe said.

"Don't worry. We left no evidence that we were here." Tripp replied.

"We have no place to sleep." Kate said.

"Yes we do. Give me your hairpin." Clem asked.

She took Kate's hairpin and unlocked the door.

"Whoa!" Javier exclaimed.

He and Kate walked over and laid on the bed.

"Best part is, we don't have to keep watch. There's no windows in here and we can lock the door. If The New Frontier couldn't even bust that door down, muertos won't stand a chance." Javier explained.

Tripp opened the closet. He noticed the hatch.

"What's that?" He asked.

"No clue, can't open it." Clementine responded.

Javier grabbed his bat and walked over.

"Everybody stand back." He said.

He bashed the lock twice and it busted. Clementine opened it.

"Oh my god!" Kate exclaimed.

Clementine pulled out a box of food and a box of water.

"This could last us a year!" Tripp exclaimed.

They all ate then headed into the room. Javi locked the door then he and Kate laid on their bed. Tripp laid on the cot. Clem walked over to the bed and sat down. Gabe did the same but he sat beside Clem.

"What are you doing that's your be-" Clementine pointed to the cot that was shot up.

"No." She said.

"Not my fault." Gabe responded.

Everyone else was already asleep. Clem crawled under the blankets, and Gabe did too. Gabe was looking at her and she was looking at him.

"What Gabe? Why are you looking at me" Clem whispered.

"Just go to sleep." Clementine said.

Clementine rolled over so all Gabe could see was her back.

She felt him move closer.

"Good night." Gabe whispered.

"Night." Clem replied.
