A gunshot filled the air.
"GABE!!!" Clem yelled.
Somebody was shot. A smoke bomb blew up in front of everyone.
"YOU'RE GOING DOWN!" A mysterious man said.
Bullets began flying threw the air. Clem crawled towards Gabe.
"Gabe!" She yelled.
She crawled over and found Arvo on the ground with a bullet in his head. She crawled around looking for Gabe. She saw legs in the smoke.
"Oh god. Gabe. No please... no." Clem whimpered.
She crawled over to the body which turned out to be Christa's.
"Christa..." She whimpered.
She stood up and walked through the smoke. Clem saw a shadow in the smoke. The shadow came rushing towards her. It was Gabe and AJ.
"Gabe!" Clem exclaimed.
Clem ran up and hugged Gabe.
"They're dead." Gabe said.
"We need to get out of here." He told Clem.
They ran towards the woods and waited behind a couple trees. After a few minutes, the shooting stopped. Clem and Gabe walked back to the tent. They saw the bodies of Christa, Danny, Wyatt, Bonnie, Shel and Russell. Mike and Vince came walking from where the bandits were.
"Mike! Vince!" Gabe yelled.
Mike and Vince walked over to Clem, Gabe and AJ.
"Where is Becca?" Vince asked.
"Here." Becca said.
She walked around the corner of the tent and saw her sister.
"NO! NO! NO! SHEL! PLEASE!" Becca cried.
Clem told Becca that they had to go and Becca listened. They started to walk down the road hoping to find safety. They went back to the house. Vince and Mike slept on separate beds upstairs. Becca slept on a bed upstairs, and Clem and Gabe went downstairs with AJ. Clem fed AJ then put him to bed. Clem crawled into bed with Gabe.
"I love you." Clem said.
"I love you too." Gabe whispered.
They kissed with out pausing. They fell asleep against each other.
They were safe...
For now.
