Clem's POV
I went into a bedroom and laid on one of the cots with AJ. I held him close.
"Sleep, Goofball." I whispered.
He smiled and fell asleep. Becca was on a cot in the room as well. It was a small room. I couldn't not think of Gabe. I started to tear up. I fell asleep.
Unknown POV
It's night now. I was lost. Just me and my gun. I escaped but they followed me. I ran into the forest. I may be faster but there was still a herd behind me. I was running for my life. I looked behind me as I ran. The herd was still following me. I turned to look in front of me. I slammed into a tree. This was it. I'm done for. I laid on the ground and as I went unconscious I heard the sound of gunfire.
Clem's POV
I was at the door of the house where Gabe died. The herd got closer to Gabe. I ran to him.
"GABE! NO!" I tugged on him.
He hugged me.
"I love you. Now run. RUN!" He yelled.
Becca pulled on me.
She pulled me to the door.
"GABE! GABE NO! I LOVE YOU!" I screamed.
I woke up sweaty. I shot up bumping AJ. He woke up and frantically looked at me with eyes wide open.
"It's okay Goofball. Go back to sleep." I whispered.
He fell back asleep and I got up. I walked downstairs to the front door and opened it. I walked outside and sat on the step of the front porch.
"I miss you Gabe." I said.
"Why did you have to be a hero? Why? You could have come with us! Everything would have been fine." I said as I looked down.
I began to cry.........
Javi walked onto the porch and sat next to me.
"I miss Kate." He said.
Unknown POV
I was in a warehouse. It was dark I was tied to a chair. A man walked in front of me. He was standing in the shadows.
"Who the hell are you?! Where am I?!" I asked.
The man walked out. He had slicked back black hair and he was wearing a black coat. He looked like a farmer.
"I'm going to make this quick. Have heard of a man named Lee?" The man asked.
Lee. Clementine talked about a man named Lee. He took care of her. If he knows Lee, then he knows Clem. But Lee died.
"Yes. He died. A girl told me about him." I said.
"Is her name Clementine?" The man asked.
I didn't want to tell him. I wouldn't tell him.
"I will hit you boy." He said to me.
He raised his fist to punch me.
"Try me." I said.
He punched me in the jaw. My lip began to bleed.
"Jesus ok! Yes... that's her name." I said.
He smiled. He turned around to think.
"Why do you need to know her name?!" I asked.
He turned around with no smile. He raised his fist and knocked me out.
Javi's POV
The Next Morning
I talked to Clem last night about Gabe and Kate... we were both hurting. But we had to toughen up. Everyone was eating in the living room. I went and sat down with my breakfast.
"We have to find supplies." I said.
"We do." Jesus agreed.
Everyone nodded.
"Have you scouted the area?" I asked Jesus.
He shook his head no.
"I'll go then." I said.
I finished my breakfast then Clem, Jesus, Molly and I all went out to scout.
Unknown POV
It was the next morning and I was still tied up. I had just woken up. It was dark.
"HELLO?!" I yelled.
The man walked out from the shadows.
"Hi there!" He said.
"Who are you?! What is your name?" I asked.
"Andrew. Andrew St.John!" He exclaimed.
I've heard that name... and I don't think it was used in good reasoning.
"What is yours?" He asked.
"Gabe." I told him.
"I have a question. Where is Clementine?" He asked.
Who is this guy?! Why does he want Clem?!
"I don't know." I said.
"Yes you do. You know her. WHERE IS SHE?!" He yelled at me.
I honestly didn't know.
"I DON'T KNOW!" I yelled.
He punched me.
"WHY?!" I asked.
He snapped his finger.
Another man limped out from the shadows with four patched holes in his chest.
"Hi *wheez* there." He said.
"My brother Danny. Lee almost killed him. With this!" Andy said as he whipped out a pitchfork.
He raised it to my chest.
"Where is she?!" He demanded.
"I'm not lying! I DON'T KNOW!" I yelled.
He pulled the fork back and got ready to stab me. He was about to stab me. I closed my eyes.
I heard the door get kicked open.
I opened my eyes and couldn't believe it...
Clementine.
