Clem and Gabe

Chapter Four: Confession

They sat in the living room talking about their past lives, what they remember from before the walkers/muertos. Clementine had a great life with her parents, and she loved her treehouse a lot. Javier was a baseball player for Baltimore. Kate was David's wife and stayed at the house. Gabe and her sister were best friends and loved each other. And Tripp was a mechanic at the Prescott airfield. They had great lives before the walkers. Soon enough it was 11:30pm. Javier locked the doors and boarded the window then they all went to bed.

Javier was laying in bed with Kate.

"I love you so much Kate." Javier whispered.

"I love you too Javi." Kate whispered back.

They kissed then went to bed. Tripp was already asleep. Clem, Gabe, and AJ stayed up a little bit longer. They played with AJ until they decided that it was time for bed. Clem pulled the armchair into the room for AJ to sleep on. Clem crawled into bed and Gabe did too. AJ was already asleep too. Clem and Gabe laid staring at each other.

"Clementine." Gabe whispered.

"What?" Clem whispered.

"Can I confess something?" Gabe whispered.

"Sure." Clem whispered.

"I like you Clementine." Gabe whispered.

Clementine blushed. Deep down she liked him too, she just didn't want to show it. But now she did.

"I like you too Gabe." Clementine whispered.

Gabe smiled and blushed. Gabe put his hand in Clem's hair and began to stroke it. Clem grabbed his head and pulled it to her's to kiss him. Gabe kissed back. Clem put Gabe's head back on the pillow. He smiled. Gabe moved closer and hugged her. They fell asleep just like that.

The next morning they all woke up and sat on the couch's with their breakfast. Clem fed AJ but he can walk by himself now too. The day was passing quickly. Everyone was sitting on the furniture in the living room. 

"You know what I haven't played since I was little?" Javier asked.

"What?" Tripp questioned.

"Truth Or Dare." Javier said.

"I'll play." Kate agreed.

"Sure." Gabe agreed too.

"I'll go first. Tripp, Truth Or Dare?" Javier asked.

"Dare." Tripp responded.

"Lick the front doorknob." Javier dared. 

Tripp did his dare with ease.

"Sick." Kate muttered.

"Kate! Truth Or Dare?" Tripp asked.

"Truth." Kate responded.

"Do you like Javi?" Tripp asked.

Javi smiled.

"No." Kate answered.

Javi swung his head and looked at Kate with a confused face. She kissed him.

"I love him." Kate said.

Javi smiled.

"Clementine! Truth Or Dare?" Kate asked.

Clem thought that if she chose truth she would get a question like; Do you like Gabe? But if she chose dare she would get a dare like; Lick the wall.

"Dare." Clem responded.

"I dare you to kiss Gabe." Kate dared.

Clem let her head fall. She lifted it back up and looked at Gabe. He shrugged his shoulders and kissed Clem quickly. 

"Awwwwwww." Javier expressed with endearment.

"It's late. I'm going to bed." Clem said.

"Me too." Gabe said.

Clem and Gabe took AJ and walked into the bedroom. Clem set AJ on the chair and shut the door. She turned to say goodnight to AJ, but he was already asleep. 

"Goodnight Goofball." Clem said.

She crawled into bed with Gabe. Like the past two nights, they laid while looking at each other.

"You enjoyed that kiss didn't you." Gabe whispered.

In response, Clem wrapped her arms around Gabe and kissed him. They were kissing gently. Clem stopped kissing and laid back normally.

"I loved it." She whispered.

Gabe grabbed her and kissed her again then hugged her. Clem rolled over and Gabe hugged her from behind. 

"Good night." Clem whispered.

No response. She turned over and Gabe was already asleep. She laid listening to Javier, Kate, and Tripp still in the living room talking. Then she quickly fell asleep.
