Clem and Gabe

Chapter Nineteen

Clem's POV

It was hard. When Gabe died it was me, AJ and Becca. We left the house. After seeing what I saw we continued down the road. AJ kept hugging me as I carried him. Then I heard and engine.We jumped into the bushes on the side of the road. There was a truck. It stopped beside the bush and someone hopped out. Just one person. They had saw us jump into the bush.

"Hello." A familiar voice called out.

They were right in front of us. AJ whimpered. I covered his mouth.

"It's ok." The man said.

Hearing his voice again I knew that it was someone I knew and I had a feeling I knew who it was. The man opened the bush and looked down at me with eyes wide. I was amazed.

"Javier!" AJ exclaimed.

I jumped out of the bush and hugged him. Becca walked out of the bush.

"Wait. Where's Kate?" I asked.

He looked at the ground with a frown.

"Where's Gabe?" He asked very worried.

"Gone." Becca sighed.

"DAMMIT!" Javi yelled.

"Just hop in. I found some people. We have a place to stay." Javi said.

I got into the truck and so did Becca.

We drove until we arrived at a huge house.

"Holy crap!" I exclaimed.

"Follow me." Javi said.

He led us inside and there were four people sitting on a couch.

I looked at them and my eyes widened.

"Molly?!" I questioned.

"Do I know you?" Molly asked.

"Clementine." I said.

"Wait... Clementine?! Lee's little one." Molly asked.

"Lee's gone. But yes!" I said.

She stood up and hugged me.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good." I told her.

"Hi Clem." Jesus said.

"Hi Jesus!" I exclaimed.

I was happy for now. But I can't not think of Gabe...

That was a close call. Where are they?
