We didn't go anywhere too fancy. I also wasn't sure if this was a date or just something casual. Leonard simply brought us to an Italian restaurant where we ate and talked for hours. I finally let someone get to know me completely and I must say, it felt amazing. After dinner we decided to just go to a bar. This time we didn't go to the bar from yesterday as I knew the bartender would tell Barry that I was there again and that I was with an older man.

As I drunk my third beer I noticed a change between yesterday and today. Today I'm not feeling tipsy at all. Because during all my life I hadn't touched alcohol I am a lightweight when it comes to it, so even one beer should make me tipsy.

"Leonard?" I asked turning to the man that had his arm around my shoulders and stood right next to me.

"Yes?" He said turning to look at me as well.

"I don't feel tipsy nor drunk." I told him with slight worry in my tone and eyes.

"Yeah, I heard metahumans can't really get drunk with normal alcohol. It has to be something a thousand times stronger." He told whilst sipping on his beer. Leonard has drunk three beers himself but as far as I can tell he's not even close to getting drunk. I guess he can hold it a lot longer than me.

The rest of the night consisted of me trying other drinks just for the taste, Leonard drinking a couple more beers and us getting to know each other better. When it was around 3 A.M. we decided it was time to go home. Leonard was already a little tipsy so I didn't let him drive. As I parked the car in my normal spot we both got out and Leonard, deciding to be a gentleman, took my hand and led me to my front door.

"I had fun tonight Kyla." Leonard told him while standing really close to me, making me look up to be able to see his face.

"Me too." I told him a little nervous. He makes me feel like a teenager again. He put both his hands on my face and leaned down to be able to kiss me. This kiss wasn't like the first ones we shared. This was slow and seemed to contain more emotion, for each other, than the other ones that were mostly full of lust. Our lips moved together for a while until we had to stop so we could breathe again. After that Leonard gave me a peck and left. I got inside my apartment with a big smile on my face.

"Why are you smiling so much?" I heard a familiar voice ask which made me stop smiling and search for the voice. "Not happy to see me again?" She asked me.

"What are you doing here mother?" I asked her angrily and then I heard another door close, which lead me to think that we weren't alone. At this moment I was ready to use my powers on her and the other person but then I saw Barry come to the living room.

"Kyla, you're home." Barry said when he saw me his face looked like he was relieved that I was home. But then he saw my face and that I didn't seem happy at all.

"You know what Barry? This unannounced visits are starting to get annoying, specially this one with that woman." I told him through gritted teeth, I could feel my powers starting to get out of control because of my anger.

"Sorry about that. But you know how I need to pass through this street to get home right? As I was walking I saw her sitting outside the building so I asked if she needed any help. When she told me that she was your mother I thought I could bring her inside and wait with her until you got home." He told me and just as he finished I looked back at my mother to see a beer bottle in her hand. That made me even angrier which made the flowers I had on the table right in front of her to burst into flames. This caught everyone off guard, even myself as I had no idea I also could do that.

"H ... How did you do that?" My mother asked me super confused. My hands were in a fist and as I let go the flames just evaporated.

"Why would it matter to you? You come here to ask me for my help but the first thing you should've done was go to rehab. What good would a new kidney do if you would ruin it just like you did to your own?" I asked still full of rage. "I actually had a great day but you just had to come back and ruin it, didn't you?" I asked her, I wasn't expecting an answer but the moment I saw she was going to say something I talked again. "Barry, would you please get her out? I don't know where she's staying, as long as she isn't near me." I told him softly as I wanted him to know that I wasn't mad at him.
