I made my way to the front of the crowd, squeezing past excited fans until I was leaning my body against the barrier. The infamous "no moshing, no crowd surfing" sign hung above the stage. The crowd went silent as are a barefoot Emerson walked on stage, taking a seat at his drum set. He started a drum roll before Sebastian and Remington came running on stage. By the time he had made it to the mic stand fans were throwing themselves at the barricades, practically smashing me, but I couldn't stop laughing. All of these people were going crazy, and I would've been one of them, except I found out 'V' was Remington and less than an hour ago I had just been cuddled up against his chest.
Mr. Doctor man questions his hands, lost his mind, but he's clinically fine, but he found a way to cope, needle in his throat, falling down but his world is spinning round and round
The words ran through my head but I wasn't listening. I was looking at Sebastian, leaning over the barrier, practically letting the fans play his guitar for him, Remington was singing and looking up at the lights hanging from the stage ceiling. I smiled to myself because I knew what would come next and I was right. When a particularly long guitar solo came up he tossed the mic over his shoulder so it was dangling by its chord and began to climb. By the time the next verse came up he was hanging upside down above his brothers clutching the microphone and smiling. He's so adorable, such a little man child. After six more songs Remington said goodbye to the crowd as Sebastian hopped back up on stage and Emerson stood, still drumming and knocked over half of the drum set. He reminds me of a clumsy dinosaur, just whipping his tail around and accidentally knocking everything over. Remington hopped off stage and walked toward me. He smiled at me from the other side of the barrier.
"Climb over" he smirked.
I bet he doubts I'm a climber like him, jokes on you Remington I've been climbing since before I could walk or talk. I hopped over the barrier easily and giggled at the astonished look on his face.
"What?" I started, "didn't know I was a monkey too?"
He laughed, grabbed my hand, and led me to their merch tent. There was a line of fans waiting to meet him and his brothers. Sebastian looked stressed as Emerson talked to a green haired girl near by.
"What's the matter?" I asked walking up to him.
"Oh hey," he looked back at the crowd of fans, "our merch guy, Matt, isn't here and we're supposed to start meeting fans but we don't have anyone to man the booth."
"I've got it." I said.
"Really," he started, surprised.
"Yeah I mean it is kinda my job even if I'm not assigned specifically to your tent."
I took a seat at the merch table and started to organize the shirts. A lot of people bought shirts and had the boys sign them. After a few minutes it was hard for me to singlehandedly run the sales. I was extremely relieved when I felt someone pull up a chair next to me and start to help. An hour later the fans had dispersed and Sebastian told us we could go hang out in the tour bus.
"I'm Shannon by the way." The girl with the green hair said, she was the one who had helped with the merch.
"Red," I smiled, "it's nice to meet you Shannon."
We walked back to the tour bus and I plopped down on Remington's bed, she sat in the empty bunk across from me.
"So how do you know the boys?" I asked.
"I'm a youtuber and we met a while back."
And then it clicked I knew who this was. Heythereimshannon.
"Shannon Taylor," I started, "I used to watch your videos all the time."
She smiled, "How about you?"
"What about me?"
"How do you know the boys?"
"Oh I started talking to Remington a few months back but he didn't tell me who he was and then we met for the first time in person today."
"That's pretty cool," She smirked, "So is there anything going on between you two?"
"If you count sitting on his bunk and eating Nutella by the spoonful, than yes." We both laughed.
"Were you surprised by his Nutella 'fetish'?"
"No I've been a fan for a while so I know about the Nutella and sharpie obsessions." We both laughed again.
We got to know each other and time flew by talking to her. She was awesome I'm glad I met her. By the time the boys came back it was already dark.
"We're getting ready to drive to the next city if you guys wanna grab your stuff." Sebastian called from the front of the bus.
"Shit, I've got to go get my car." I realized.
"I should call my sister, she said she'd pick me up, I'll drive to the next city and meet you guys there tomorrow." Shannon said getting up.
"Don't be ridiculous," I started, "you can come with me, the motel we're staying in has two beds in each room anyway."
"Seriously? That'd be awesome!"
I led her to my car and we blared my chemical romance for 2 hours, all the way to the motel.
A/n: sorry this is shitty and I haven't updated frequently I'm having family problems.
P.S. have you seen the video of Willow Radke singing bad girls club on Ronnie's Instagram? It's adorable.
