I walked back into my room, hand in hand with Remington, and grinning like an idiot.
"Someone's happy," Shannon laughed, setting her phone down, "did you finally ask her out?"
"Yup." Remington smiled.
"Wait you knew?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's been talking about you for months, I'm surprised it took him this long."
Remington's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink, making Shan and I giggle.
"You weren't supposed to tell her that." He muttered.
"It's okay my pale prince," I smiled, "it doesn't make me like to any less."
"The next show is tomorrow," Shannon sighed, "so that mean you need to go to bed at a decent time." She poked Remington's chest.
"That reminds me," Remington said turning to me, "do you wanna work our merch booth tomorrow so we can hang out?"
"I'd love to."
We spent the rest of the day binge watching 13 reasons why on Netflix. We fell asleep midway through tape 4 side B.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Morning!" Shannon yelled flipping on the lights, blinding me and Remington.
Rem just grumbled and turned over beside me. I reached for my phone. Shit, it was already 9 am. I pushed Rem off the bed, Shannon and I laughed as he hit the ground and his eyes shot open, clearly annoyed.
"The hell was that for?" He muttered, running his hands through his messy white hair.
"You have to go to sound check, the gates open in two hours."
"Ugh, do I have to."
"Yes." Shannon and I both rolled our eyes.
I threw on my black Jean shorts, thigh highs and black veil brides cut off band tee. Shannon and I went to the venue and organized the merch for the boy's tent. It was a hot day and there were hundreds of kids waiting behind the gates. When we finished setting up we went and watched a few sound checks. We saw a bit of falling in reverse, New Year's Day, and caught the end of palaye Royale.
"Gates open in ten minutes, I'd get to where you need to be if I were you before you're trampled." A security guard said in my direction.
"Thanks!" I called over my shoulder, jogging back to the Palaye tent.
It was a long day. We sold all of the shirts that we had brought to the tent, and I had to run to the bus and grab a few more boxes to keep the crazy fans from practically fighting each other for the few that were left. It was 7 pm and the fans had finally cleared out. We broke down the tent and went looking for Rem. After a few minutes I decided to just text him, this place was too big for me to keep looking.
Me: hey where are you?
Rem: FIR tent, come hang
I wonder what he's doing hanging out with the falling in reverse merch girls, I felt a little bit jealous. But as I approached I was relieved to see him, his brothers, and a group of guys talking. I walked up and swung my arm around Rem's waist.
"Hey babe." He greeted, kissing my forehead.
"Hey," I blushed, I could feel the group of guys turn and look at me.
"She's hot."
Why did that voice sound familiar? Rem glared in the direction from which the remark had come. I turned around to see who Remington was now pissed at. Ronnie Radke. Ronnie Radke had called me hot.
"We're having a party tonight," he said changing the subject, "you guys should come."
"We'll be there." I replied before Remington could protest.
He gently pulled me away from the guys, who were now talking excitedly about tonight.
"Why did you do that?" Remington grumbled, "he was checking you out."
"Someone's jealous," I smirked, "he was doing that to mess with you, I've never met him and I know that. Besides you need to let loose, and I'm not passing up an opportunity to get drunk with my favorite bands."
This seemed to relax him. I needed to shower and get ready for tonight. I was about to party with my idols, there's no way I'm showing up looking less than perfect.
