Chapter 3 || Regret ||

Just to let you know, Josh's pov is always first. Okay, back to the story.

I instantly regretted kissing Debby. As soon as I heard the door click, I just kissed her. I don't know why I would do that. I mean sure, Debby's my girlfriend, but I never just kissed her like that out of nowhere. Tyler had ran to the bathroom. I couldn't tell if he was hurt, or uncomfortable. I wanted to be the one who goes after him, but no. His wife was the one who did. I love Jenna, she's a nice person, but for some reason a part of me hates her. Is it because she's with Tyler.. ?

"Is he alright?" I asked Jenna as soon as she came back. "Yeah, he said he just needs alone time."

"Oh, but did he say why?"

"No, he told me that he couldn't tell me, and that it would be weird" She answered. "I'll go then.." I told her. My heart started pounding as soon as I stood up straight.

"Jenna, I said I needed alone time."

"Tyjo, it's Josh" I told him."Oh" Was all he said.

"Tyler, what's wrong?" I said, sitting next to him. "I-I'm just worried" He replied.

"About what?"

"About you. Jenna and I are going to Cancun next week, and I'm not sure about leaving you here. Going somewhere far away from you, kind of, uh, t-terrifies m-me.." He said, honestly.

"It's okay, Tyler. You can go.. I'll be.. fine." I told him, knowing that I won't be fine.

"Oh, well.. Guess I don't need alone time anymore..." He said, looking at me. Tyler's so cute.. I can't help but think about us kissing. Am I getting feelings f-for him? Why now? I can't like him..

"Josh, can you carry me to Debby and Jenna?" He asked laughing a little. "Sure thing Tyjo" I said and laughed, waiting for him to stand.

"Why are you two so cute?" Debby said laughing. Jenna agreed and laughed too. Hey, at least we're cuter than Jenna and Tyler, and Debby and I. I know I shouldn't be saying that, but it's what I think.

"I think Jish is cutest, and not I" Tyler said smiling. I sort of blushed, but no one saw.

"No, both of you are. Equally." Jenna told us.

"Thanks, but is anyone hungry? Because I am." I asked. I was starving, I had skipped breakfast this morning, because Debby asked me to come over.

"Yeah, I am. Can we go to Chipotle? Or Taco Bell? I don't care which, they're both amazing." Debby said.

"No, Taco Bell all the way," Tyler told her. Jenna and I laughed.

"Taco Bell it is." I said, putting Tyler down, and going outside.

We all went in my car, because why not? Debby was the DJ apparently, haha. She was playing 'Tear In My Heart' and I was getting all happy inside only because of Tyler's  beautiful voice. I do not regret saying that.

|| Tyler's pov ||

I didn't like when Debby and Josh kissed. It made me upset, and run to the bathroom. When I was there, all I could think about was Josh, until Jenna came in to comfort me. She asked what was wrong, but I couldn't tell her because it would be weird. She would think I love him, in that way. She would think I care for Josh more, which I hope I don't, because I proposed to her for a reason, right? I love Jenna, she's amazing, but right now I couldn't look at her, or tell her anything.

"I can't tell you, it would be too weird." I replied.

"Alright well, do you want me to stay here with you?" She asked. "No, love. I need some alone time at the moment. Sorry." I told her.

"It's okay, I understand."

Two minutes after she left, I thought she came back so I said, "Jenna, I said I needed alone time." But all I heard was "Tyjo, it's Josh."

Oh boy.. Josh always makes me tell the truth without even asking, or forcing.  I was thinking about all this while on the way to Taco Bell. When Josh carried me, I felt safe, just like I did before when I layed down next to him. I wish Josh could stay with me forever, but I know that won't happen. I watched as he sang along to Tear In My Heart, that's when I heard him say "He's the tear in my heart." I don't think Jenna and Debby heard, but all I know is.. I need to find out who the he is..

"Tyler, are you okay?" Jenna asked, placing her hand on mine."You've been staring out Josh's side of the window for a while, heh"

"Huh, oh.. Yeah I'm fine, believe me." I answered, even though I'm not even close to fine."I've just been thinking about.. uh.. our honeymoon."

"Oh, okay. Do you still want to go? I have to make sure." She said. I looked at Josh, and he looked at my through the mirror in front of him and nodded reassuring me that it's okay if I want to go. "Yes, of course." I replied.

We had a great time at Taco Bell, Josh kept complaining on how Melanie didn't invite him to the party yesterday. It was cute how he complained so much, well if I'm being honest.

We passed by some store that caught Jenna and Debby's attention.

"OH. MY. JOSH. STOP. HERE. WE. HAVE. TO. CHECK. THIS. OUT!!" Debby said, while Josh and I were laughing because she said 'Josh' instead of 'Gosh'

It's been 15 minutes since we walked around the store. How do these girls never get tired of walking around? I was exhausted.

"Tyjo, would you like to go on my back? You looked really tired." He asked, laughing for 10 seconds. "Puh-lease, I really need it." I told him, laughing as well.

A minute after that, we lost Jenna and Debby so we decided to check out the male section. A girl popped out of nowhere and said, "Are you two dating? That's so cuteeeeee!!" She squealed.

"I wish," I heard Josh say.
