My life. My choice. (Hiccup and Astrid's POV)

"Well hello there, the name is Tuffnut, Tuffnut Thorston. At your service my lady." Tuffnut said bowing to Merida.

"Merida." She said curtseying.

"Ruffnut." She said holding out her hand to shake.

"Fishlegs." He said bowing his head.

She nodded. Snoutlout stared at her in awe. She blushed.

"Um... I-Im Snoutface, I-I mean Snotlout."  He said shaking her hand.

She nodded and blushed. I saw the girls snickering at his attics I smirked as Astrid double over holding her sides laughing silently. 

Heather stepped forward and shook Merida's hand. 

"Heather."

"Nice grip." Merida said.

"Thanks."

"Astrid." She said shaking her hand.

"Aye! Firm demanding grip. You two are warriors no?" Merida asked.

"We are." The girls said.

"Awesome! I'll show you the arena. We can all do challenges. Just let me go get out of this cursed dress." She said smiling.

We smiled and nodded as she turned and ran back to the castel.

"She. Is. Awesome." Snoutlout siad.

"Somebody's​ in Love." Astrid sang in a mocking voice.

"Shut up Astrid." He said blushing.

I laughed.

(Astrid's​ POV)

Merida came into the arena in a losses dark teal dress with her unruly bright red curly hair everywhere with a bow and quiver strapped to her back and a sword at her side.

"Aye, who here is the best fighter?" She asked. 

Everyone pointed to me, but I pointed to Heather.

"Ah, Astrid, well, what do you do? Archery? Sword? Axe?" She asked.

I drew my axe.

"Axe it is." She said picking up a axe off the wall.

I charged her and she met my blow. We fought for twenty minutes she almost beat me until I disarmed her breathing heavily.

"Not....Bad..." She breathed as I helped her up.

"Same... To...You." I said doubling over as she did to catch my breath.

Everyone stared at us in awe.

"Alright, who here is the best sword fighter?" She asked.

The twins pointed to Snoutlout and the rest of us pointed to Hiccup while the two cousins pointed to each other.

"Aye, I'll take Hiccup on first." She said drawing her sword.

He sighed and pulled out his flaming sword and activated it. Merida's eyes widened.

"That is so cool!" She said getting into a stance.

"Thanks." Hiccup responded as she charged.

They fought for twenty minutes before they both disarmed each other. All of us gasped.

"No way!" The twins said excitedly​.

"What?" They asked in unison.

"Hiccup! Merida! Where did you learn to do that?!?" They asked excitedly​.
